Monroe is going to thrive under Stan. No more deferring to inferior players. Feed the beast!

Monroe has outplayed Smith in preseason but I think Monroe is best utilized off the bench. He provides a go-to option off the bench and would be surrounded by shooters like Augustin, Meeks, and Singler to give him room operate. I can't argue with the people who want to see him start though.

He's been really good this game. I think he should start at SF since Martin and Singler clearly don't want the job.

I'd be fine cutting both Datome and Mitchell and either running with 14 and an open roster spot to audition with 10-day contracts or looking at other teams last cuts and snatching somebody up that way.

Or just leaving a space open for a two for one trade or something. I'm convinced those guys won't amount to anything.

Greg is a beast, he's our most consistent player and best offensive option. Ive said this for quite some time now, but he look 100% better this season under SVG. Our twin towers are awesome.

I like Smith acting as our facilitator this game, that will be nice to have off the bench with Augustin.

Dre should have went right at Gordon as oppose to the side of him. Though it is preseason

Drummond always fades away both offensively and defensively.

Dre needs to have that, "F* you, i'm a own you b*" attitude in the post. When he gets banged around and doesn't have success, you can still see it effects him mentally an dhe's hesitent

One of those rare nights when we are reminded Drummond is still just a baby. Can't recall the last time he's struggled like this. That's how good he has become in 2 years.

ya, its his lack of a secondary move, however the more that dre uses that hook shot, the more opponents are going to try to read it, opening up a secondary move that dre just naturally has to figure out as the option is there. What is encouraging is that he is somewhat contesting(its preseason) and offensively he is further along than last year

If he only could play against Smith, Jerebko, and Martin every game. He would shoot 50% from 3.

lol, even his open shots though aren't even that close. typically poor 3 point shooting is caused by poor form and i don't see a hitch in his stroke

Its more than just lack of a secondary move. There was a time in the game when Dre sealed his man and DJ threw it into him. Instead o just going straight up or turning around and dunking it, he dribbled away from the basket and shot a hook.
