Probably why JJ has fallen out of the rotation, he hustles hard but he can't defend real 4s like Tolliver can.

highly doubt it, JJ's probably going to get some burn in the next game, i just think matchup wise, he liked the law against Harris. JJ's better at defending bigger less quick 4's.

Yeah this. I think that other guy had it backwards.

Our bench is really not that bad but what's killing it is having to start Singler and having to play Augustin

Singler would be awesome off the bench esp next to Meeks and Tolliver, that is a great shooting bench

Augustin at this point, however, is playing worse statistically than Will Bynum did last year

Unfortunately, with the Cavs and at least two other contenders looking for a veteran PG, i doubt we will be able to find any player that is better than Augustin before this summer

Good ass game by Dre and Moose, those two held it down in the paint again tonight. Shout to my young guy Jennings for his 20-20 game too, those haters are really becoming bandwagon fans now man. Shoot, let's make a playoff statement next game!

Allowing the Magic to score 118 is terrible defensively, but I appreciate that W though. 8-)

This was the gameplan.

Can we have our old coach back? :(

I was at the game tonight! Our starters played amazing. Best game Jennings has had since becoming a Stone.

Uhh.. WOW!

Jennings looked like a top 5 PG in the NBA in this game. Drummond scored 6 times from Jennings assists. Monroe scores 7 times from Jennings assists. Holy crap.

Did a light bulb go off in Brandon's head? Could he average 9-10 apg the rest of the season? Yeah, Mr. Jennings.. Drummond/Monroe can make things easy for you. 8-) (by the way we'll love you like we did Chauncey)

Jenning and DrumRoe looked great this game- they were so in sync with each other. Hopefully they all build on this chemistry. So impressed with each of them- they were absolutely dominant. The 3 best players on either team.

Interestingly enough, SVG is starting to play DrumRoe to go more often. In the past he would sub Drummond out for Jerebko at about the 6 minute mark in the 1st and 3rd quarters- now DrumRoe is playing together most of the 1st and 3rd quarters. Looks like 1 of Jerebko/Tolliver will see a minute reduction in favor of more time for DrumRoe

We're 4-1 in close games (5 points or less) post-Smith. That's pretty impressive.

Pistons have gone from the team that couldn't help one another to it being what they love to do.

Drummond was a monster last night, and he's getting better. It seemed to me he was concentrating better at the line, so maybe SVG was on the right track benching him after that last performance. Make him earn being on the floor at winning time. In this game AD certainly showed how valuable he can be down the stretch.

What i got from that clip is that Jennings understands the offense and players around him. Literally we haven't had that type of PG since Billups. I really liked that BJ looked to be taking his man 1 on 1 and saw dre get low post position and fed him immediately . Dre responds to touches

I notice that too, it also depends on the defensive matchup, but he definitely has given them longer looks. 1 things for damn sure, even if moose doesn't compliment Dre as a 4, he sure as hell needed as a backup center and provides us a lot of flexibility with our lineups. One of the reasons Dwights Magic teams were so successful was Gortat.
