Hah. That Select team wants KCP to blanket Curry in Team USA practices. ;-)

Good for KCP, bad for Stanley who is supposed to be having a development/skillz off-season.

well they won't be practicing the entire time. so i'd assume SJ would have time to work on Skills with the elite US coaches.

Anytime a young player can get into the minds of Vets as good as the USA ones uh you take that.

I felt the same way at first. Looking at it closer, this is probably leaps and bounds better for his development than anything else. Hopefully he absorbs it.

KCP getting the attention for that great work in the playoffs and the games he checked Curry aka Oh yeah, 2x MVP and best shooter this league has seen by a mile.

Same with SJ and his mentality. I love this for our young guys.

But we should totally trade them right, considering we're one trade away from being a true contender. /sarcasm

Also good for developing bonds/recruiting, lets hope he becomes good friends with anthony davis ;)
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

Yeah, no. Considering KCP's roots, that's a lot more likely to end up with KCP in New Orleans than Anthony Davis in Detroit.

I think KCP should absolutely go but I expect SJ to decline if he's serious about his skills development. The only way is if he gets lots of training at the camp. Stanley made a lot of noise in the Playoffs. So far our team has given the biggest fit to Cleveland. I expect another sweep in the ECF.

I think they both should go and use the experience as a training tool.

Lots of good things can come from it & while it's true they could get injured there's not a lot of downside long term.

Go, see how "better" players prep themselves, identify weaknesses in future opponents, work on your own weaknesses...

Congrats to those guys. It's nice to see them getting some props.
As far as SJ goes, this experience will help him tremendously, playing in summer league with a bunch of scrubs won't.

You don't pass up working with Team USA for some dribbling drills.

This just goes to show how badly USA basketball has fallen, to invite two players who are the very definition of mediocrity.

I don't see how getting an opportunity to train with and play against the very best players in the league would not be a good thing for Stanley Johnson.
