The second greatest receiver of all-time?

Obviously Jerry Rice is at the top of the list but who's next? Who should be in the discussion?

Randy Moss by miles.

If only Randy was drafted by the Patriots and teamed up with Brady for +10 years, everybody would be saying......... Randy Moss > Jerry Rice

I agree it's Randy but QB play is not the reason he didn't have a better career, it was his own fault.

Marvin Harrison was a great player as well, and could catch contested passes unlike Moss.
Calvin Johnson could end up being in the discussion for greatest WR of all time if he continues his recent level of play (although Rice's longevity was unbelievable).

I would say Marvin Harrison, but Megatron will likely be #2 by the time he retires

I believe Brady was healthy in 2009. Moss had 1,264 yards, and 13 touchdowns. Not exactly dominant numbers. You do realize Rice had 22 touchdowns in a strike-shortened season back when 20 touchdowns was unheard of. He could have had 27 touchdowns or more if the season had been full. If Moss fans want to live off one year, Jerry Rice fans can do the same.

I'll say Randy Moss was a bit more dominant in terms of running a 9 route and being almost unstoppable. However as an overall WR Terrell Owens I thought was a bit better.

Inside routes

TO >>> Moss

Outside Routes

Moss >> TO

Yards after the catch

TO >> Moss

Dominance

Moss >> TO

Effort

TO >>> Moss

So I think overall TO was better however Moss would be #2 on my All Time list simply because he was the most dominant WR since Rice in that time period. TO is a very close 2nd though and wouldn't have a problem with him instead of Moss.

Look at 2 of the 3 best offenses in NFL history. What do they have in common?

And if you want to bring up the effort TO played with, also bring up how he was one of the most disruptive players (in the locker room) in NFL history.

Didn't really get to watch Jerry Rice.

Randy Moss was the best WR I've ever seen. Better than TO, better than Calvin, better than Harrison. Moss was the greatest physical specimen to ever play WR imo...he was the fastest player in the NFL, and he got up the highest...and his hands were incredible. He wasn't the strongest receiver, and you could bother him if you played him physical, but he was still pretty much unstoppable. He revolutionized NFL defenses, because of how physically dominant he was. He was pretty much the only WR to ever outrun zone schemes, and he routinely went up and got it over multiple defenders.

And unlike Rice and Harrison and TO, he didn't play with an elite QB pretty much his entire career...quite the opposite, he actually only got 2 seasons with an elite QB (and in one of those seasons, Brady was still recovering from an injury). Imagine if he played with someone like Brady for most of his career?

I think easily Moss with QB playing be a factor. 23 or so means no consistency and a lack of talent.

Randy Moss, without a doubt. Megatron and TO are forces of nature in their own right, but when Moss was locked in I don't think anyone was ever better. Even Jerry Rice, as heretical as that sounds.

I'm going with Tim Brown. He did it in a less pass-centric NFL for the dysfunctional Raiders.

I voted Owens and could have just as easily voted for Moss. Very similar as far as how great they were even if their styles were different. They were both also very entertaining to watch on and off the field. Moss mooning GB fans was just awesome and Joe Buck's comments illustrate how much Joe Buck sucks. I loved TOs end zone celebrations, meltdowns and off field antics.
