I can't see Harbaugh choosing to build his offense around Newton. If we go QB I think it's Mallett or Gabbert.

DE is nonexistant in the 2nd and 3rd round and there is virtually no dropoff between the 2nd and 3rd round corners. Why not grab a first round caliber guard who can start day one and get your CB in the 3rd round and find a DE later or through free agency? Any DE not named Sam Acho is a pretty big reach in the 2nd round.

Why? Newton seems a better fit in Harbaugh's system and he more closesly resembles Andrew Luck than either of the other 2 guys. Harbaught likes a mobile QB who can move around and he would have to be intrigued by Newton's tools. I think SF might decide against a first round QB, but I don't see Mallett or Gabberty being better fits. And I actually rate Mallett over Newton.

Seems like we got a lot of Niners fans here. I don't really like any of the QB's and I think the Niners defense has too many holes to fill. We absolutely need to add pass rush and secondary help. I think that is a bigger priority than the quarterback right now. I also think the O-Line is not our biggest problem. We need our OLine to gain experience and stay healthy but they aren't the worst unit. I think they need to grab the best defensive players available.

I'd rather have Castonzo then Ingram.

I like Starks and Grant will be back next year.

That is a very possible scenerio. I think Ingram is terrific value at #32 and GB is a team without a lot of holes who can roll the dice on BPA. Also, I think GB may be hesitant to use another first round pick on a tackle.

I have a hard time seeing Ozzie passing on Paea if he's there, regardless of whether or not its a need. He kind of has a habit of doing that. Love the Clayborn pick for Tampa.

Clifton despite getting an undeserving pro bowl appearence isn't a viable option for the future. He's old and his knees are held together with chewing gum.

I'd rather go: OT, OG, OLB, KR/PR, than RB

I would be happy with this draft for the Browns especially with Rogers gone now, although I wouldnt object to going d-line in the 3rd round as well. Still, CB is still definitely a need and Im intrigued by Dowling.

Yep. I would much rather have Torrey Smith than Baldwin though.

I sort of get this feeling that we will make a move for Houston, just seems that way to me. For the Jets it's hard to make a bad one here, Sands I like a lot. Liuget seems to be a name that is rising a little bit, don't think he will he there for us. However still way to early to know for sure.

According to Risdon, the Bears are desperately hoping that Liuget falls to them. Based on that, Cliff Levingston thinks they go with him over the OT here.

Looks like a good mock by Cammo, but I think Cameron Jordan and Nate Solder are you're biggest reaches in the first round. I don't see a team using that high of a pick on a guy like Jordan when there's a guy like Quinn available. Stay away from the DE's then if you can't pick Quinn over Jordan. Quinn is HIGHLY touted by scouts, and he had a whopping 6 FFs in addition to his good TFL/Sack stats of 2009. Also I don't think Dareus has a shot at #1 that I have been seeing people suggest, he's never created a fumble in his career and I don't see how you can take a guy number 1 who hasn't even done that once, no flippin' way.

^^^ I agree. I really like Cameron Jordan but not at 7. Quinn could transition to a nice pass rushing outside linebacker. I think he is a better prospect. If they want Jordan then they should trade down for him.
