I'll take the Bengals as my 2nd team if we don't have enough people.

So I have a thought as far as running the actual draft. It always seems like with forum mock drafts that things slow down when you inevitably wait for a guy to make his pick.

What if we grouped the two rounds of the draft into groups of 5 picks. Every day there would be a deadline for those 5 teams to send their "Big Board" to someone who is running the draft. They simply give their top 2-5 players (depending on when they were due up), with special rules if they'd like based on possible scenarios before them. With 64 picks, it would take 13 days. Last year when we ran it, we held it for about three weeks and only got halfway through the second round. Draft is the 28th, so the schedule would look like:

Picks 1-5 : Big Board Due April 15 @ 5PM EST, results posted by 6PM EST
6-10: 4/16
11-15: 4/17
16-20: 4/18
21-25: 4/19
26-30: 4/20
31-35: 4/21
36-40: 4/22
41-45: 4/23
46-50: 4/24
51-55: 4/25
56-60: 4/26
61-64: 4/27

Also, you'd obviously be able to look at when your pick was due up and just know to check the thread the day before your Big Board was due. If anyone still doesn't submit their board, the person running the draft just makes their best judgement call.

Yeah, thats a much better idea than waiting for somebody to make a pick only for them to forget to check this thread.

We're allowed to trade right?

If so people should post emails.

I also think we should freeze the team draft order. Trades make things pretty messy and cause people to wait longer to make their decisions.
