I'm about to start watching last night's game right now. Haven't seen Clemson yet this year but I've heard he looks drool-worthy.

One thing that drives me nuts with Cody Kessler is how long he holds onto the ball. I don't think he makes it as an NFL QB unless he dramatically improves processing his reads more quickly.

He's a better prospect than Matt Barkley, but that's not really saying a lot. Agreed on his holding the ball too long. He doesn't drive the ball down the field all that well either.

Christian McCaffrey is of the same mold as Welker's and Edelman's of the world. Does it all offensively.

Reminds me a lot of Woodhead.

Jeff, i've been looking at the draft stuff on the site here and have noticed that jaleel johnson is starting to show up on your guys' lists. how much has his stock improved? he's been great for iowa for a couple years now but he just wasn't getting a lot of attention from people - i think the michigan game was his coming out party for people

and are there any other iowa players with a chance at getting drafted besides desmond king and jaleel?

USC notes: JuJu is very good when healthy. He finally got some time to heal and he performed tonight at the Rose Bowl. Darnold will go #1 overall when he decides to go to the NFL. He is as good as it gets at the QB position.

Johnson did himself well at Senior Bowl. Quickness and upfield burst, great chase speed. He's one of those guys where if he doesn't win right off the snap he's in trouble though.

Don't see any other Hawkeyes getting drafted this year. Greg Mabin will at least get into a camp, maybe Kittle too

Jeff, any idea of your timeline on impending analyses before the draft? I look forward to your insights every year.

jeff, on my iowa guys

how much has jaleel johnson hurt his stock with his not so great combine and pro day? you seem to have him still fairly high, 3rd round. or are people still considering the mostly good tape he has?

on the other side, how much has george kittle helped his stock with his fantastic combine and pro day? went from banged up most of the year and not on anyone's radar to the third round in your 4.0 version. is his athleticism really that great? does iowa's tight end pedigree help him at all?
