i've seen quite a few people that have the vikings taking that de crichton in the second round, i'm wondering if that is becoming unlikely with how much focus they've have on the d-line in free agency

beyond qb, the vikes focus i think is going to lb and secondary help

It was mostly due to the fact that Allen was leaving. But, it is not really all that much of a need anymore. It's tough to do a mock while free agency is going on, as team need seems to change daily.

First 17 picks are almost entirely possible. Might not be in that order but I think all those guys go top 20.

There's a lot of smoke with Garoppolo to the Jaguars, can def. see that too. Have the same in my latest mock, pretty sure Dane Brugler does too.

Anyone else a bit dubious about Bridgewater falling from a top pick a month ago to mid to late first round, just based on a pro day workout?

I trust in Icness, who has claimed Bridgewater to be the top QB for quite a while now. Who cares if the consensus of draft pundits make too big a deal over a workout in t-shirts and shorts? Game film and intangibles make the quarterback prospect, am I right?

We see this happen all the time. Like at guys like Geno Smith and Brady Quinn, who both looked like top 10 picks a month before the draft.

I personally rate Bridgewater as the #2 QB in this draft, behind Manziel.

I seem to be the last guy with Dennard still ahead of Gilbert, but I am fighting that kicking and screaming because of how much I love Dennard.

I'd be pretty upset if the Vikings took Carr over Bridgewater.

Just because I rate him first doesn't mean he'll go first. I had Colt McCoy graded higher than Sam Bradford, Cutler higher than Leinart or Vince Young.

Bridgewater would be my choice, but I'm not a NFL GM.

Why so low on Mettenberger?

He's Jake Locker without the mobility and with off-field issues, and he's now coming off a knee injury. One of the least accurate draft prospects I've seen this side of Tebow. He completes passes but they're very seldom placed in the right spot. He makes guys like Beckham and Landry work way too hard to make what should be routine catches.

I don't see why people like him so much, other than his strong arm. He was hot garbage for two years at LSU after getting thrown out of UGA for being a thief and a thug. He has one moderately successful year with two great wideouts and a strong OL and people all of the sudden think he's Jay Cutler.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

The tools are all there. He reminds me a bit of Josh Freeman. A guy who has all the tools to be great, but hasn't found a way to put them together yet. I'm not in love with him, but I think he's a solid risk from the late second round on.
