The year they beat Miami, the Canes went 7-6.

Justifying Ohio State's scheduling in the last decade when the Big Ten hasn't held a candle to the SEC or Big 12 in conference quality is grasping at straws.

I thought the whole point of this playoff was to avoid giving a brand name the edge in picking bowl games, anyway?

Way to not miss that ref, you have to watch those unsportsmanlike FSU players.

why would you think that? only 4 teams can be picked and chances are there are going to be more than 4 worthy teams in any given year

and big ten has been better than big 12 past decade.

Assuming all the top rated teams run the table from here on, who is your final 4? Mine is looking like this:

1) SEC Champ
2) ND/FSU Winner
3) SEC #2
4) 1 loss Oregon
First Out- Michigan State
Second Out- TCU/KSU

Thank you triplemke23 for the sig.

I don't think Golson has taken anything more than a three step drop on any pass since he came out of the locker room.

That'd probably be my ranking, too. But, the SEC runner-up (whoever comes out of the East probably) won't be better than whoever came in second in the West.

I also have this terrible feeling that if Notre Dame loses this game and wins out, as does FSU, Notre Dame might get some one-loss, under the table HJ from the committee.

I'm fairly certain Jameis could rip a hole in time with one of his throws.
