i would humor them just so there is no precedent set about excluding unbeatens from playoffs but in reality i doubt they are even a top 20 team

Navy, VaTech, Cincy and Kent State are better?

Kent State is arguably the worst team in the nation this season. And, OSU lost to a VaTech team that isn't very good.

I don't know how you can argue about SOS when Ohio State's only got better this season because they finally left Youngstown State off the schedule.

Plus, TCU has the potential to only lose to Baylor by 3 (after an atrocious pass interference call), while beating Oklahoma, OK St., K-State and a surging West Virginia.

I wouldn't include Marshall. I think the fact that TCU and Utah couldn't continue to run the table once they joined power 5 conferences proves a point that undefeated seasons in weak conferences aren't on the same level as 1 loss seasons in power conferences.

that landshark defense is very impressive. Forced two fumbles, 7 sacks, knocked out Worley who was taking a beating all game. Golson adds another 2 picks to his nation leading total, and Hilton adds one. That defense is great

yeah that group is most definitely better than group tcu played. kent state might be bad but it is a d-i team, samford is a mediocre fcs team.

ohio state regularly scheduled usc and texases, alpha programs that big 12 teams typically wouldn't touch with a mile pole out of conference. even miami was a solid ranked team when they played few years back. last two years is abnormality more than anything. and it is not that ohio state played a superior schedule, when records are even and there is not a big discrepancy between sos, ohio state gets in over most teams in the country. anybody who watched college football past decade knows this.

and ohio state's only loss came when back up freshman qb was making his second start. there is no crying in football.
