College Football Week 2 Thread

Post#1 » by goober » Sat Sep 12, 2015 4:09 pm

2nd week of college football is here!

I'm definitely tuning into Oregon @ Michigan State

The LSU/Mississippi State game will be fun to watch today

I'm excited to watch my Cougars play another quality opponent this week and hopefully win and sneak into the Top 25.

Discuss!

Great final play in Notre Dame game. Brutal loss for Arkansas. Almost a brutal loss for Auburn. Can't wait for Oregon/Michigan St.

I was looking at point spreads and was a little surprised Michigan St was favored. But I'm not sure if Oregon's qb has a broken finger or not...saw some news headline about that.

Auburn looked embarrassing in their game, Arkansas lost to a MAC school, Tenn blew it big at home, and Mizzou barely survived Arkansas St. Just showing how huge of a joke it is that the SEC gets so many ranked teams for no reason. Tenn's loss wasn't that bad, the other few have no excuse its just pathetic.

SEC is good, but they are not elite like they think they are. But Bama, the Mississippi schools, Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M are still there, so don't judge too fast. Auburn and Arkansas games were strange, but the rest of the conference seems to be doing ok.

I think Bama and LSU are legit again, UF hasnt done anything lately andthey didnt impress today so who knows, Georgia should be good but they always seem to blow it honestly.

Not saying the SEC isn't good, it's likely the best conference overall, but seeing how every year SEC pretenders get thrown into the rankings for no reason at all, then those said teams seem to prop up the actual legit SEC teams bc it makes the wins look far better than it really is.

Sparty coming through when it matters!!! Heck of a game, roller coaster from start to finish. Assuming it goes to plan, MSU v OSU in the horseshoe is must see TV, and the biggest/best game of the year.

Agree, I'll definitely be tuning in to that game. Cook looked like a mature QB against Oregon.
