So, please educate us on how Harrison Barnes role will expand next year then?

Well first of all, they will bring in a specialist to pull his head fully out of his azz. Once that's done they will give him special pills to grow his miniature balls. Finally some cheap wine and hookers to relax his manic state.

But really I've been wondering for quite awhile why they don't run some of the off the ball action they do for Steph and Klay. I realize that he isn't as good a shooter, but when he's in with the bench unit, they could easily get into some of those sets with Harrison being the one getting and taking some of those looks.

His mid range game looks good at times, but often that offense is an after thought. He has that post to a fall away that he's become pretty decent at. Not sure why they don't call that number a bit more.

Overall his basketball instincts aren't that great. Sleepy nailed that a long time ago. I believe Harrison is an analytic. Some times people who are very analytical have a hard time making quick decisions. They over think things at times. Quick decision makers dont tend to over analyze things.

But he could improve, just hard to swallow that dollar amount. But there is something to be said for keeping the band together.

He's shootings like 20% on that fadeaway. It is quite possibly the worst shot any player in our rotation takes with any regularity. The only play worse might Mo Buckets jump-stop footwork, but it's debatable. If I never seen another HB fadeaway 10 footer again it will be too soon.

I'm not accusing you of making anything up, just wondering if you have a site that shows those %'s? Sounds like something I'd like to look at. Thanks

Actually he improved his %'s big time from that out side the key midrange from last year to this year.

Pull up the shot zones for outside the paint, but inside the arc. Nice improvement.

Here's this years (2015/16) shot chart;

I REALLY hope they do NOT do that. I'm sorry, but he just isn't worth it, especially if it's max deal. Let him go to a different team and look for a different cheaper and maybe better option.

Barnes is so gone. I don't even want him back for a 1 yr 5 mill deal. We need to move on from his "potential" and find a guy that can do what we need.

I think GSW management released their statement of.... "Warriors will give a match as an offer for Harrison Barnes." Somehow, media ran with it as "Warriors will match any offer for Harrison Barnes."

If a team offers Barnes 5 year deal for the minimum then MAYBE Warriors match it. He's that turrible.

he is fading too hard on his fade aways. if he fades a little less he still will get the shot off and might actually make it....

Warriors will match offer unless Barnes asks to leave.

An 18-20 million a year deal 2 yrs from now will be like a 9 million dollar a year contract today. It's that the Warriors are getting such great value on Curry, Thompson, Green contracts.
