Granger would probably come cheaper as well. I don't think Iguodala's value will ever be higher than it is right now.

West hopefully is still a savy personell poker player. So if he says we are going to get a SF I believe the other way. Meyers if Bogut deal is an indicator gives no real clue. I would rather stick with Dorel and Rush Mg Guire because there are always swingmen.

He trashed the backcourt for it's ball dominance/lack of size and basically said Biedrins blows . Then he drafted a bigger off the ball SG and traded the small one for a Center.

I think if it's obvious, then he will state the obvious. This gives him credibility. Where he tricks people is when he talks up lesser known players like Ekpe Udoh.

Gay>Iggy>Granger>Batum=Smith imo.

some realllly bad contracts but there are some pretty realistic trades for Iggy, Granger, and definitely Smith.

To me it's:

Smith and Granger
Iggy
Batum and Gay

That's strictly on play, not on contracts.

I don't trust Smith at the 3.

Not sure I disagree with you. But I do find it interesting how most of us compare the high end of potential on players against proven previous all-star level players....

Iggy is a proven stud....very good defensively....exciting ....apparently great chemistry with Curry....a vet that we probably need big time....

Should drafting an unknown 19-20 year old over a proven vet near the top of his game be even close? ;)

I was basing my take on his game, but maybe more importantly to me is the low cost, the fact that we own him, and the flexibility the Warriors will have from that.

MKG is a beast of a defender. I saw numerous Ken games, and a lot of times it was like he was guarding from 1-4, at the same time. REALLY gets after it. He's also very young, so the potential is massive

Said well and that's been my point for months, years actually. Yea a draft pick, especially a high lottery one, has potential and is relatively cheap for three or four years, but he is always an unknown. A proven player, especially one that fills the immediate need, is always far safer and a better move, the thing is getting that player and for how much given up to get him. Iguodala looks like a very good fit.

Iguodala is 28 years old.

If MKG is anything like Pippin that's the guy I want.

I'm puzzled by Gay. He does not seem to be the kind of player that Logo would love. Maybe he took him simply because he was the BPA. But if Logo does really love him, I'll take him. And he would definitely be an upgrade. Just too much shooting and not enough defense or playmaking for me.
