Fricken start the games already!

Postby ILOVEIT on Fri Sep 14, 2012 12:25 pm

things I'm looking forward to seeing this year...

Klay blowing up...I think there is a solid chance he might blow up as an all-star this year. Looking forward to him going off on Kobe...maybe a 40 point night here and there....

Watching Bogut enforce the middle....battling against Dwight...

I know, right! Seems like this offseason is lasting forever. And I agree on Klay, he looks primed to be a force this year, I still think he has some things to learn, but I do believe he will be the Dubs leading scorer this year...probably 18+ per game, which would be a lot higher if the Warriors didn't have so many other good scoring options. Bogut should be great too although the history of head to head matchups vs. Dwight is not in his favor. Still, he at least gives us a chance against elite centers, something the Warriors have utterly lacked for decades.

I'm dying here...I don't really pay attention to NFL outside of my fantasy players and my Mets are god awful for the 876329478324 year in a row. Needs me some NBA!

+1. Its too slow. At least there is some good Football and Baseball to wait it out. 3 more weeks to go to start pre-season.

One thing of note. Notice the 3 shortest players on the team are 6'3"? And they play PG. :D [ Death to MIDGETBALL!!!! ]

I hear you, my brothers. I can't believe with the Giants and 49ers and As playing well that I'm this impatient for basketball, but I totally am. Is this what it feels like to actually look forward to a Warriors season? I've forgotten.

I don't know why, since I don't believe in curses or any of that other supernatural hooey, but I keep waiting for something horrible to happen: Curry's foot falls off, Bogut's car blows up, Bob Myers turns out to be Larry Riley in disguise, Lacob & Guber go broke and sell the team back to Cohan, who immediately trades for Maggette, Crawford and Melo, then signs Iverson, etc. A Warriors offseason without something horrible happening seems unnatural.

Yeah...I hear ya. I'm waiting for the "Well..turns out Bogut needs another surgery afterall" before he even plays ball!

Curry said to be just cleared for pickup ball...Pick up ball? Forget that...just get in shape by running until training camp opens....Say NO to pick up ball!

Well, he called it "pick up ball", but it was with his Warrior teammates at the Warrior practice facility, so hopefully it was a little bit organized and supervised, in other words, not playground street ball level.
