I'd say no just because you're paying PG premium price for a guy who would play the 2 for us. I'd rather have Shaun/Andre handle the ball and there are cheaper options at the 2 who bring the same level of 3pt impact.

Think Justin Holiday can become a good offensive and defensive player off the bench and for pretty cheap for a few years. The focus should be on what he can give and what he could become before exploring anyone else. What Barbosa can give after this season is a question as well because he has done real well. Unless he resigns cheap maybe he can't be kept but maybe the FO doesn't mind fairly deep luxury tax for a year. Should be plenty of FA guards this offseason anyway.

I agree - while I like Mario, his role on this team would be basically what Justin does at a premium price. And I like Justin better.

"Russell Westbrook scored a career-high 54 points in the Oklahoma City Thunder's 116-104 loss to the Indiana Pacers.
Westbrook had a career high 43 shot attempts in the game"

Steph would score around 80 with that many attempts

Probably just me, but does anyone think Coach Dunleavy sounds like Christopher Walken?

The Rockets don't scare me at all. We match up really well with them. Harden so far in the playoffs is 9-28 FG and 28-30 FT. If Klay plays him straight up, he isn't going to get those FT's. Bogut will handle Dwight, Green will handle Smith.

Meh, Rockets, whatever, come get some.

 Those stats can't be real...are they?

If so, lol, I fear the Rockets even less. Especially when Dwight goes into 'gotta get mine' mode against a center that has stone walled him for years in Bogey.

Those stats are real. So, factor in that most of those FT's come from flops and attempts that don't even register in the FGA column, and you can see the usage that dude has. I think we're equipped defensively to handle that sort of crap fest offense over a 7 game series with personnel we have.

Mind you what happened last night for the Rockets was against mostly a lineup of Monta Ellis, J.J. Barea, Dirk, Richard Jefferson, and Chandler.......Poor Chandler got zero help on defense and was trying to guard multiple positions and no one was helping to slow their men down from cutting into the lanes.

I f feel really bad for Tyson....the guy is giving his all, but there isn't one good defender in that group except for Aminu, who helps and brought some decent defense.

Also props to Barea who was making huge shots and keeping the game close until the end. But he still isn't much of a defender.

So Dallas is making the rest of the Rockets not named Harden look really good. I have no doubt that our defense would make things tough for them.

I think Gentry is a lock for them...sadly.

I would have mixed emotions. Sad to lose him obviously, but happy to see him get such a great job where he has a chance to build a coaching legacy of his own.

I take solace in knowing how connected Kerr is throughout the league and knowing he would replace Gentry with another great lead assistant.

Sounds like Kevin Ollie is their top choice.

Sounds good to me. They could do worse, but also much better.

Ollie sounds like he's staying at UConn.

In other news, I wonder how this affects our chances in the KD lottery. Chances he sticks in OKC now?
