Ersan – 27 years old - has always hustled on D - scrappy rebounder – decent passer
was nagged by injuries all last year – is healthy now – should return to 2012 form

2012/3- 28mpg - 13ppg- 7rpg – 482 3pt% - 552TS% - 18.5PER

I wouldnt mind it but I dont think we have a 2nd rounder to give up for awhile
Maybe a few pieces from each team could be added instead.
And how is the health of Ersan and Zaza?
I agree..... We have no second round pick until 2019, and would have no problem substituting either Kuzmic or Nedovic for that part of the trade.
Quick note to the OP: Lee averaged over 18 ppg last year..... you picked up his career averages (including his first 3 years which were much lower than the last 6 across-the-board).
Reasons I would do this deal:
- Ilyasova is not as good as Lee, but is still very talented, and can be a very effective stretch 4. I agree that he should revert back to 2012-13 form; the second half of 2013-14 (when he was healthy) was very similar to that, after a horrible start to the year.
- Pachulia would be a very good back-up center, and I think would be great (relatively speaking) operating out of the triangle. He averaged 2.6 assists/game last year, which is pretty darn good for a center. Between he and Ezeli, we would have a great set of back-ups to Bogut - if you need offense, put in Pachulia, if you need defense, put in Ezeli. Completely solves the depth problem at center.
- Saves us $2M+/year, and even more if we are able to include Kuzmic or Nedovic
- In addition to saving money, it creates a nice salary gradient for the Warriors in considering future trades. Most of the team is $10M+/year, or $3M and below. It makes it tough to find the right match of talent and value to make trades. Both guys are tradeable in the future, and at reasonable salaries / contract lengths (Ilyasova's 2016-17 contract isn't guaranteed, so effectively they both run out in 2016 if desired - same as Lee).
- Getting a future #1 is always a good thing, it really helps in constructing trades. Unfortunately, it's not unprotected, so it may defer to a future year beyond 2017, which ever so slightly reduces its value, but still, getting the pick is good.
Long story short, we'd be trading the best player in the deal, but getting a solid stretch 4, a good back-up center, slightly reducing our salary, and improving our future trade options. That's worth it to me.
