Splitting at 100 pages. Previous thread can be found here. Sorry I botched a post or two in the split. You'll live.

Any interest in these 2?

Those two for Nedovic don't work salary wise. I'd like to have Prigioni over Nedovic but don't see a way to take on Ellington too. We could go Ellington and Prig for Speights but then we're short a big man and we need all the healthy bigs we can get.

I'd trade anyone on this team not named Curry for Giannis.

Milwaukee would be wise to not trade Giannis for anyone not named Durant/KD/Lebron etc.

I'm sorry I don't see the hype for Giannis. His ceiling to me is an all around role player probably a taller better rebounding Andre Iguodala. If you're expecting him to become a scorer or offensive superstar you're going to be disappointed.

The only reason I'd trade Klay for him is because Giannis has more perceived value. We'd have to do some follow up moves though.

You wouldn't trade Klay for a 7 foot Iguodala? :o

That's if he actually turns into Iguodala. IDK if he'll actually get to be Iguodala's impact on defense. He'd most likely settle into a Nic Batum level defender.

Anyways we already have the real Iguodala on our team and some fans are already suggesting moving him in a year or 2. I like Iguodala but we need offense on our team.

If Giannis can ever be able to defend pfs I'd trade for him in a heart beat just not sure that he can and by the time he would be able to our window would have passed as Iguodala, Bogut and Lee would be over the hill.

Trading Klay for Giannis essentially means we'd be rebuilding. Not sure Giannis is worth rebuilding for wasting Curry's prime.

I really wish we could upgrade from Lee to Horford. I feel hes actually a better fit here than Love

Upgrade to Horford from Bogut
Bogut+Barnes+2015 first for Horford

If only...
Edit: Let's look at the depth charts for fun

PG: Jeff Teague, Dennis Schröder, Shelvin Mack
SG: Kyle Korver, Thabo Sefolosha, Kent Bazemore, John Jenkins
SF: DeMarre Carroll, Harrison Barnes
PF: Paul Millsap, Mike Scott, Adreian Payne
C: Andrew Bogut, Pero Antic, Mike Muscala

PG: Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston, Nemanja Nedovic, Aaron Craft
SG: Klay Thompson, Brandon Rush
SF: Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green
PF: David Lee, Marreese Speights
C: Al Horford, Festus Ezeli, Ognjen Kuzmic

We'd need another wing

Webster for Nedovic, Speights

PG: Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston, Aaron Craft
SG: Klay Thompson, Brandon Rush
SF: Andre Iguodala, Martell Webster
PF: David Lee, Draymond Green
C: Al Horford, Festus Ezeli, Ognjen Kuzmic

END EDIT Just some light sketches, nothing serious. throwing ideas out there

Sets us up nicely for the 2016 offseason.

Hopefully Horford re-signs and we have space for Durant. Would need to dump Andre probably.

But im getting ahead of myself...

Would be best if Barnes and Ezeli had strong starts to the season and Hawks had some injury troubles that dropped them out of the playoff race. Millsap is an expiring and that team is a treadmill team that's not great at drawing free agents. Horford is a perfect 2nd option who is an great upgrade to Lee. He shoots 49% between 16 ft and 3 pt line, plays defense and can be a C if Bogut gets hurt. Doubt Atlanta would ever take Lee though and Carroll is better than Barnes as is, so Barnes would have to really come out hot, at which point our FO would probably hold him out of a deal :banghead:

Or maybe flip Speights+Nedovic or some other incentive for Mbah a Moute.

LRMAM needs to be on a playoff squad

Mbah a Moute is going to Philadelphia in a deal that moves Young to the Wolves. Philadelphia wants Mbah a Moute specifically because he can mentor Embiid (they apparently already have a strong relationship). He's not going anywhere outside of Philly.....

The Warriors should try to get Monroe. Yeah he's real similar to Lee except for the not-insignificant fact that he's young and he can play center.

Honestly I would give anyone on the roster other than Curry or I guess Klay (now that his value > Kevin Love's :-? ) to get Monroe. He can play ball.

Klay has more "percieved value" but Giannis did impress me in summer league......They say he grew a bit taller. I could not help but think of AR...long, quick, big hops but a tad raw. Impressive in Summer ball..but if you start thinking Durant or Magic Johnson.....probably not. He's pretty good, much upside.

Klay howevber..ALREADY is pretty good and still on the rise.

Yea the trade would be with Philly

I don't know how they value him. He had already been mentoring Joel before this trade, so being teammates is only a small difference. And Joel isn't even playing this year so I don't see that as a huge reason to keep him. Hinkie would flip him if he could grab an extra asset.

I was trying to find a way to turn trash into treasure. Speights is expiring so that's a wash, good tank co-commander too. If only we had more small assets to combine. But I don't know the rules about trading a player right after another trade.
