Just mentioned it in the "Free Agent Talk" thread - it's being reported that Ayon would like to stay in the NBA, but he has offers overseas that are well above the NBA minimum contract..... which is unfortunately all the Warriors can offer. Odds of getting him are very low. Somebody else in the league will probably offer him more (and also more of a guarantee of playing time than the Warriors would), or he's going overseas.

Maybe I'll be surprised, but I don't think we're going to have a chance at him.

I really wanted Elton Brand as he's been pretty reliable and productive for the last couple of seasons now.

That would explain the reason Royal lists the positions in the order of PG/SG/PF/SF/C......

Oh dear lord. Elton Brand is a corpse. I'd rather dust off Jermaine O'Neil's carcass than sign Elton Brand. Brand is not worth 2 million dollars or a roster spot.

If we could turn Nemanja Nedovic and Ongjen Kuzmic into Zoran Dragic and Aaron Baynes that would be one heck of an offseason!

We don't have the money to sign Dragic. (Yes, I know you're talking Zoran, not Goran.) The Suns are interested, and what better chance for Zoran than to be able to play next to his brother, for more than the minimum that we can offer? Not saying he's going to Phoenix, but at a minimum their offer will be better than what we can offer for him to come over here and be third string.

Baynes - would be nice if we could get him. But what would San Antonio be interested in any package we could offer for him?

Ayon signs in Spain for 1.8M euro / year (about $2.3M).....

Raduljica just signed with a team in China..... I didn't see the terms, but I'm sure it was well above the NBA minimum salary that is the most we could offer.
