Don't trip dude....this story came out a while back. He has been doing things and Kerr spoke to Festus being ok for training camp.

There's not a lot of opportunity to run five on five while he's working out at the facilities. And they probably want to monitor everything he's doing, so having him go out and find a five on five pickup game to play in is not something they want to do.

Their just being cautious. Also the inflammation he got in the shin in summer league could merely be due to not playing for a year. Not so much anything structural.

We shall see though and of course we're all a bit skeptical.

I just don't want to see Speights playing back-up 5 anymore lol. I hope Festus will be ready, but its only like 40 days till the season starts and less than 3 weeks from preseason and he haven't played 5-on-5 for 15! freaking months. I really hope he's gonna return strong because we really really need him this year.

I agree with you TSG. I really want Speights playing as little 5 as possible for us this coming season (and I don't care what the stats might say).

Kuz to the rescue! :D
In 1971, the team moved across the Bay Area to Oakland, and changed its geographic name to Golden State to symbolize the team as representative of the entire state of California

Getting a bad feeling about this. When dates start getting pushed back after long injuries you have to start to worry about it and backup C is a super important position on this team.

like i said, 40-45 wins this year....

we have NO reliable center on this team. All of them are broken record...
