Mentioned in one of the game threads that Draymond is not the only one who's been doing it....Iguodala, Draymond, and others have really been pushing things after turnovers and rebounds.

Makes for easy baskets.

Magic is just being a homer due to Draymond's Mich and Klay's Lakers history. Draymond would be lucky shooting above league average % in 3 pt on any other team without Steph and Klay.

Draymond is having a good season. He most likely has earned his starting spot and should continue to start next year for the Warriors.

You could argue that Draymond deserves 3rd Team All NBA over Kawhi or Blake because they have both missed a lot of time and Dray has been healthy. I don't think he will get it, but he deserves to be in the convo.

He should 100% be first team all defense, and still is in the running for DPOY

http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-bas ... ne-nothing

“They have a cocky arrogance, like they've won something, and they haven't done nothing,” Green said. “They pretty much been to the same spot in the playoffs we've been to. But they have this cockiness like you're supposed to bow down to them. They ain't proved nothing. They ain't earned nothing. What respect have you earned?”

But couldn't any Clippers player say the same thing about Green?

“I wouldn't say that, because I don't expect anybody to bow down to me,” Green said. “Nor do I expect you to respect me. I'm going to earn your respect. When it's all said and done, you'll respect me and our team.”

--

I love Dray so much lol. About to read the full Grantland article:

http://grantland.com/features/nba-golde ... -spartans/

edit: crazy how much Izzo loves Dray

“It was a loss, but it wasn’t like we lost a McDonald’s guy,” Izzo said of how he felt when Green first committed to Kentucky. “But boy, if I knew what I know now, it would have been the biggest loss of my life.”

Dray should be on the all-defense team for sure. On the other hand, I looked up Iguodala and he was only on the first team in 2014, and 2nd team in 2011. This for a guy who is known for defense and is not that great of an offensive player. The people who picks these awards are a joke.

Iguodala, Green and Bogut should all be all defense. It wouldn't surprise me if all or none of them made it, frankly.

Iguodala probably has the worst chance just because he isn't starting, even though he plays more minutes than Bogut I believe.

I love watching that because it's just so counter-intuitive. I'm used to going small on offense, but the 4 usually can't dribble and run a 3 man fast break. Every board Draymond gets, where he has momentum, he's running to the other side of the court. Iguodala does it and hell, even bad dribblers like Klay/Barnes have started doing it. This is without mentioning that Bogut is confident enough in his ball handling that he can take it to the arc and start our offensive set when Curry is being man-handled and fouled.

It's just fun to watch and it must be disorienting for opposing teams.

Draymond didn't like the mentor Mark Jackson assigned to him, Jeremy Tyler (lol). Jermaine O'Neal became his unofficial mentor.

Yes...everyone from coach to gm to owner have basically said he's coming back. Lacob has talked of going into the tax to keep the team together. Teams can offer but Golden State will match...yes even the max.

That's good. Losing him would be a James Harden level regret.

Sure Andre! You can join us as Bogut's replacement in a couple of years!
