I hate all of this cancer talk. We have a strong locker room and well respect coaches. McGee will NOT be a cancer to this team.

Sign him up NOW.

Much better than Dalembert and Kuz. Still 27 years old. Not really a knuclehead. But just low BBall IQ. With those emphatic DUNKS, he would give the starters some energy. I think he would be serviceable for like 10-20 mins. depending on matchup. With that span of time, around smart players like Iggy, Lee, Splash Bros. etc. he would do fine with us. Energy guy off the bench.

As much as I've thought McGee is a waste the last two seasons, he'd be a good addition for the minimum. What you said is right and maybe this could be the situation for McGee to be decent for at least two years. He would be a roadblock to Ezeli though who is a far better long term option.

According to Wikipedia: "NBA teams can release a player to the waiver wire, where he can stay for 48 hours (during the regular season). While he is on waivers, other teams may claim him, for his existing salary. If he is not claimed, he is said to have "cleared waivers", and is treated like any free agent, able to sign with any team (with the special restriction noted above for players who were traded and then waived)."

We should have to wait for 2 days so we can get him for cheap. Here's to hoping that Myers will sign him. Patience, guys.

he actually played in the playoffs last season. They just offered him more $ this summer overseas(just like beasley) that's why he isn't in the nba right now.

Blache is still better offensively than Mcgee

No....Blatche opted out on a player option....he thought he was gonna get paid last summer. All the teams who even offered him anything did so at a rate lower than what his option would have been had he just stayed in Brooklyn.....he made a stupid mistake and ended up in the effing Philippines....Dumas.

Then went to China and became an All Star there. W's don't need another offensive Center though. Defense is much of a priority.

Would love McGee. He's nothing special but he can run the floor, block a few shots and rebound a bit. He was solid against us in the playoffs a couple of years ago from memory as well.

Ask Andre Igoudala what he thinks of McGee and go from there.

iirc they got along pretty well and I don't think McGee has connections anywhere else does he?

I think it'd be low risk, high reward. That would be a huge pick up

Let's evaluate some West teams who might sign him:

Clippers and Mavs - Would be redundant with Jordan and Chandler on their team, respectively.
Spurs - Possible but doubt it with their philosophy (High IQ players)
Memphis - have enough bigs
OKC - Adams, Ibaka, Kanter and McGary on the team would hard to find minutes

Portland - Aaron Afflalo played with him in Denver, there are connections there.
Houston- another team who could get him to back up Howard
Warriors- He should freaking sign here! 'nuff said

Last time I checked Evan was way off on all sorts of things. That being said I don't see McGee as someone we need. We have Ezeli as our upside defensive center. When would McGee get minutes?

Bogut's Backup when he rests in games and God forbid, gets injured for some time. And maybe some certain matchups.

Bring him in. We need an emergency shot blocker if our worst fears come true at the start of playoffs.

He was an integral part of Denver's 57 win team...there is a player in there...Karl was able to get something out of him. If Iguodala says stay away, I'd listen....you....not so much.

If he goes to any team that plays us in the playoffs and he blocks one of our guys shots, or dunks on one of our guys, I'm comin after you.

Andrew Bynum
Greg Oden
Eddy Curry

ect ect ect

I have seen this movie many times and this doesn't work out 95% of the time.

Stop being so naive. I'm glad i'm over that stage in my life.

JaVale McGee is nothing like those guys at all.

Bynum was injured and had zero passion
Oden couldn't get on the court
Curry was a lazy fat bum

McGee has none of those issues.
