Andre Iguodala Finals Game Ball

Post#1 » by Onus » Sat Aug 15, 2015 4:21 pm

Not sure if anyone noticed but Iguodala was hawking the Finals game ball as the final buzzer sounded, as he most likely wanted the game ball as a memorabilia of his finals journey. He was on a mission to get it and keep it, and was holding it throughout most of the celebration until he was most likely notified that he was winning the FMVP.

Do you think he still kept the game ball or did he let another teammate get it since he'd have his memorabilia in a FMVP trophy?

It's the off season ...

1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

I'm guessing either Iguodala got it back, or nobody on the Warriors has it. It seems close-knit enough as a group that if anybody realized Iguodala was trying to keep the ball, they'd get it to him.

But I hear what you're saying about the off-season. It's almost disorienting to be sitting here, not trying to come up with a great trade, or wondering how they can lure a decent player as a free agent. Very strange to be on top, and with a stable roster. I don't know what to think about this....

I'm sure the ball boys held it for Dala, and would give it back to him. I was thinking he'd give the ball to another teammate since he'd have the FMVP in his house already. He was most definitely thinking ahead of time to keep the ball but that was probably before he was going to get the FMVP trophy. Now he has the FMVP trophy he could let someone else have the ball to keep at their house.

I must've watched the finals series like 10x already and the highlights like 100x ... it really is odd not thinking about who were going to add or get rid of to get to the top.

My money is on Andre and David having a brutal fist a cuffs over the game ball in the locker room after the game, with David winning out after mauling Iggy's testes.

After watching him track that ball and cradle it there is only one thing that crossed my mind. He didn't want a Cleveland fan or a Cavs employee to retrieve it, someone who would only use it to make money off of it. He knew the significance of taking possession of that ball.

Lol I'm happy that football is about to start makes the offseason a bit better, just wish there was a site like realgm for football for the news and for the forum. The realgm football section to be honest isn't up to par.

I was excited for football, until everyone decided to retire on the Niners. Hell I was still excited at the prospect of the niners with Anthony Davis and Aldon, but now without both our lines are going to be trash.

Meh October can't come soon enough ...
