Imagine those punks forced me too root for Lebron who I never liked.

I'm thinking about making his post my Sig, and then rethinking my fandom.

Anybody wonder if Durant's friends call him Kev? I picture him as a Kev or maybe Vinny.

Can we get Woj on this?

I'm guessing they don't call him Slim.

Gotta be Kev.

What if he has one of those embarrassing nicknames you're given before you hit puberty? And all his homies still call him it?

Slim Dick Durant
Tig Ol Kevvies
Kevmir Putin
The Durentist
Durty Kev
A Tribe Called Dur

Who knows. We called our friend Lil D until he was 23. And his name's Spencer.

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE NEED ANSWERS TO

With the cap now projected at 101M, what is the difference between Durant's non-bird max and cap space max contracts?

Roughly $31m for non-Bird vs $35m for 35% max. Works in our favor. I feel like he's taking 120% mon-Bird.

The lower cap helps a bit on Steph's 5-year contract too.

How does it help?

More cap space to re-sign Iggy and Livingston?

More incentive for KD to take 120% instead of full 35% max because the lower the cap, the smaller the difference. If so we can re-sign Iguodala and Livingston over the cap.

Less cap room around means other teams have less to offer Iguodala etc.

Lacob will need to put his group' wallet where his mouth is.

I really wish both Iggy and Shuan get resigned somehow. Love both.

We can retain our bird rights on Iggy and Livingston If KD takes the non bird raise.

It is kind of funny. The lower the cap, the more Lacob's group is going to spend because they need to get into the tax by re-signing Iguodala and Livingston etc.

He's shooting poorly from 3 since he returned.

Actually his 3-point shooting seemed to be on the decline before he got injured too.

Needs to find his stroke again.
