Too bad we don't have another roster spot (although I guess we could free one up, wink, wink). He'd be the perfect backup PF for Dray.

He destroyed us last year, like he always does. Don't think we need the scoring though, would rather chase a defensive/rebounding big.

Prefer a floor spacer and shot blocker. I love Landry, but he isn't the best fit.

22 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists per 36, plus 56% from the field.
I went on the Philly site, and most of them had glowing things to say about Landry last season. And mind you he was playing on a horrible team. Which mind might skew those numbers negatively, but the dude maintained 56% field goals, and was shooting plenty of mid-range jumpers.
To me its a question of if he's better than McAdoo? He's miles and miles better than Doo Doo. And he's great protection against injury. It's a long shot because he wants playing time, but if he came cheap, itd be a solid move.

Great back to the basket game, good cutter, decent jumper. I would add Landry because he's just a better player then McAdoo.

Landry's left big toe is better than McAdoo.
If he's willing to chase a ring on a vet minimum deal (all we can offer), why not?
Yes, we need a competent defensive big guy, and Landry's forte is offense, but unless we have line-of-sight on filling that need, is sign him up if he'll come.

I think that on this team, with our style of play and his IQ he'd actually fit in quite well. I think he'd adapt defensively and be willing to fit a role here if he decided to come over. Only negative I see would be who to cut.

I don't think we can fit another offensive heavy player. Defense-capable invitees now please.
