Bring back Chris Cohan! His front office would have picked somebody really good in that draft instead of the disappointing Klay Thompson -- some stud athlete like Jimmer Freddette.

Kerr still decides when to rest players based on "I do think about what’s best for the league".
Priorities **** up.

Nice. Masterful use of overreaction thread. Kerr continues to say "That doesn't override injury or health concerns." "If we have to rest certain guys, we’ll rest them. I’ll make the apology to the opposing fans at that point.”
Bob Myers, June 7, 2018: "“It’s not in my job description to please NBA fans. It’s to win, end of story. I don’t need to be entertained, I just need to win. That’s all it is. That’s all I was hired to do. Win.”

Well if you don't need the win for the #1 seed, I don't see why you even put a healthy star out. **** happens. KD and Bogut happens.
What Kerr means he won't play players hurt.
He also means he still considers playing his healthy stars in meaningless games and risk injury in meaningless games, because of the fans. If his healthy star got hurt in a meaningless game and cost him another ring? Tough luck I guess.
It's out of control anyway, they say. People can choke to death while eating tofu, right?

What are you going to do, rest your stars for the last twenty games? That's death to team chemistry going into the playoffs even if it was a good idea for other reasons.

I'm not 100% sure on what is tongue in cheek and not on this thread.

Ian Clark is gonna blow up on another team next year.
Happened to Kent Bazemore.
Happened to Harrison Barnes.
Next it will be Clark's turn.

Big fan of Klay, but he can't stay in front of point guards on defense.

The bench sucks. Down by 20+. If the starters play they'd only lose by 5.

... to the Spurs without Kawhi, LMA, and Parker. Thanks for the warm fuzzy!

Re: The Overreaction Thread
Good news is that KD is more likely to do 1+1 non-Bird now. He'd be crazy to sign 4 years on this ****. He looks bad if he bolts after 1 season as well. So 1+1 non-Bird it is.

Hey now, both of those guys had/have extremely long careers that went on at least 2-3 years longer than they should. Who would've thought!

Re: The Overreaction Thread
Career
eFG% of 52
3pt% of 38
6 ppg 4 rpg 1 apg
PER of 11
He's below average in everything except 3pt%, and that's not really enough to make him relevant. My best guess is that he doesn't make you demonstrably worse, is fairly tall, can play both F spots and probably is a really good teammate. Really solid 10-11th man, nice rotation 8-9 man on a **** team.
How that equates to him making $8 MILLION PER OVER 2 YEARS for the kings, I'm not sure.

Very few 4s shoot 38 from 3. That is the the one thing.
