Week 14: Skins @ Ravens (12.7.08) - PRIMETIME

Post#1 » by miller31time » Wed Dec 3, 2008 5:01 pm

The game is set for Sunday at 8:15pm on NBC.

It was originally scheduled for earlier in the day but because of how well we've been playing and the extra attention we've been getting, they bumped it up to a prime-time game.

The Skins come in following a loss to the Giants, 23-7. The Ravens are hot and at home, so I expect a win, though I'm sure it will be a battle.

Will Flacco continue his improved play?
Will McGahee get a snap?
Can Portis be stopped by the Ravens dominant rush defense?

You can bet it will be a defensive show-down, as the Redskins are 6th in points allowed and the Ravens are 3rd.

It'll probably be called off, but still, the early effort the Ravens are showing has been tremendous so far.

Listening to John Madden makes me sad. He's officially entered the "old man muttering to himself in the soup aisle" stage of his career.

That Pit game couldn't have made me more mad, but its good to see that we are beating up on a good Redskins team.

I was kinda nervous after those two TOs, but great win. Ed Reed is a beast. Playoffs? Yeah, we talking about playoffs.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Very strong performance despite a sub-par effort from Flacco. When we get all of our running backs at 100%, we might go from the 2nd or 3rd-best running attack to the 1st, battling the Giants.

And as always, the defense was incredible. Ed Reed is a beast.

This game makes the Steelers game next Sunday ridiculously big.
