Meet The New Buffalo Bills

Post#1 » by Next Coming » Sun Apr 29, 2007 10:12 pm

Well as this weekend comes to a close we get to meet 7 of the newest Buffalo Bills.

Hopefully Marv Levy and the Bills brass struck gold with more than one of these picks.

This is your chance to second guess or applaud the choices. How do you grade the 07 Bills Draft class?

Without any further ado here are the newest Buffalo Bills.

Excellent draft by the Bills for the 2nd straight year. They showed confidence in guys like Youboty and Ellison and went extremely high value in the middle rounds.

On day 1, the top 2 picks were primetime talents. Edwards will prove to bring great value, either for the Bills or in a trade down the road.

On day 2, Wright is a bruising back who provide that goal line power the Bills have needed for way too long. If you haven't seen the video of Wendling yet, go to Youtube immediately (it's amazing). Schouman looks good on video and has gotten some solid respect from different draft pundits. Ah You sounds a little bit like a head case, but I love the "balls to the wall" attitude that he has. Hits hard too.

You got to love Marshawn Lynch. He was interviewed by Chris Brown the official blogger of the Buffalo Bills website and he's so humble and lighthearted.

He said he already knows J.P. Losman personally and he's another West Coast guy. Mentioned that he can't wait to protect J.P. Losman.\

When asked about his mama boy reputation he asked the Bills brass if Buffalo has a phone company and a bingo hall. They said yes and he said his mom will be fine in Buffalo.

Great kid.

My favorite part was when he was asked about whether the lack of a nightlife was going to be a problem (like it was for McGahee). His response was perfect and simple: "I'm here to play football...I'm on a mission."

How can you not love that?

Buffalo, you did great jon in the draft. The first 3 picks are solid. Lynch is a beast. His soph season was spectacular. Last year he was the focus of all defenses and still got his numbers.
