Game# 8 Atlanta at Carolina

This is a huge game for the Panthers. If we can defend our turf against a Division foe, and move to 5-3, we are strongly in the Playoff chase. Team HAS to respond big time. Protect Cam, and open up running lanes. Then Cam will have time to do his thing, be efficient, and we win. Mistake free football wins games!

Starting off nicely. Kuechley with the INT and Tolbert with a TD run. Game is starting off very nicely indeed for the Panthers.

14-10 Panthers at the half. Cam made a very stupid mistake at the end of the half. Panthers in the red zone with 20 seconds to go, and he tried to throw the ball away, but not out of the end zone. Picked off by Atlanta and sure points failed to be scored. Cam has 1 TD and 2 INT's. Not the efficient Cam from the prior 3 games. He better get his head on right. This is not a game we should lose.

Defense is playing lights out. They did finally give up a 1st half TD to Atlanta with under 2:00 minutes. But Panthers have outscored them 10-0 in the 2nd half and lead 24-10 in the 4th. Cam with a beautiful TD run.

Panthers with a pick 6 of Matt Ryan for a 30-10 lead. Team is full of confidence right now. We need the Jets to beat the Saints!

34-10. Panthers move to 5-3 with their 4th straight Win. Jets top Saints and Panthers now trail Saints by only 1 game.

Nest up : A trip to San Fran. That will be a huge game.
