Game# 12 Tampa at Carolina

Post#1 » by ohara » Thu Nov 28, 2013 12:16 pm

It is 8 - 3 Carolina hosting 3 - 8 Tampa. But it is not that easy. Panthers have won 7 in a row, but the Bucs have won 3 in a row after starting 0 - 8. Mike Glennon is proving to be a solid starting QB and better than Josh Freeman. The Bucs are playing with confidence. Carolina has to play tough defense and the front line has to protect Cam. And Cam has to play mistake free ball. If we do, will will be 9 - 3 Sunday evening. And the the Seahawks protect their house, we will be tied with the Saints for the Division lead with 2 upcoming games against them. This is going to be a terrific month of football!

Update: Charles Johnson will not play against Tampa. They want to give him 1 more week and be ready for the Saints. The back ups better be ready to produce. DeAngelo is iffy and Stewart is a little banged up. We really do need all our backs to be healthy.

Carolina up at the half 17 - 6. Cam has a TD pass, TD rush and 1 INT off a high ball that was tipped. Defense is playing strong. No complaints so far.

Panthers will 27 - 6. Defense was stout and all over Glennon today. Cam threw for 263 yards, 2 TD and a rushing TD. But he did throw 2 INT's and both were poor throws. Needs to improve because we cannot afford those mistakes vs the Saints.

Panthers now 9 - 3 and have won 8 games in a row. DeAngelo and Johnson should both be good for next week vs the Saints.
