Scooby wright is playing tonight. I was hoping he would miss a few more games so he doesn't start shooting up the charts. Hopefully he doesn't start to playing well right off the bat.

Re: 2015-16 prospects
Alex McCalister is a red-shirt junior so idk if he'll be coming out this year. If he does he'd be a great pick up in the 2md or 3rd. He's probably Florida's best pass rusher, weights 239lb and is 6'6. He could easliy go in the first is he dominates a few weeks but right now i see him as a 2 or 3rd rounder. If he comes out next year I'm sure he'll be a 1st rounder.

Brian Poole would be a good pick in the middle rounds if we don't go CB in the 1st. 5'11 211lbs and a freak athlete. makes great plays on occasion.

Would love Jaylon Smith, but top 3 might be a bit too high. Need to start with QBs and then look at other positions. Whomever we draft we have to hit a homerun or this is going to take a number of years.

Yeah, I was listening to Waddle and Silvy the other day and they were talking about him.
Apparently some scouts were comparing him to Aaron Rodgers.
Outside of the fact that they both played college football at Cal, I see no comparison between the two.
Goff looks more like Mike Glennon to me. They have similar pocket presence, athleticism and throwing motion. Glennon has the stronger arm, but Goff is the better decision maker.
Goff is good. I don't think he'll be a franchise QB. I think Kessler is similar to Rodgers. And I think Kessler will be the best quarterback out of this draft.
Kessler is 6'1... not that height stopped Drew Brees or Russell Wilson from being successful, but it is shorter than desired for a QB. Regarding Goff, the only game I saw was that Texas game. He looked unbelievable (understand set some Cal records), but one game is a small sample size. I've been hearing the hype for a little while though.

Here's some Jared Goff propaganda. I'll be the first to admit, Pro Football Focus confuses the hell out of me. They offer hard numerical grades off of what seems to be subjective analysis so take this with a grain of salt.
They have Goff with a grade of 14.6 through three games which is 6 points higher than Chad Kelley, their second highest graded QB in the country and a couple points higher than Mariota had in 2015 to lead the nation (although that was against an entire season of competition).

I agree with it. Goff is the best QB in the nation and it's not even close. This guy looks the part of a traditional NFL QB. He drops back, goes through his reads and makes quick, accurate and strong throws. The issue is that Goff is the best QB among a class of questionable options like Cody Kessler, Christian Hackenberg and Connor Cook. As a result, teams leap QB's to the top of their board out of need and the quest to find the next Aaron Rodgers or Andrew Luck.
If the Bears do finish in the position where they will be able to select Goff, I pray that they do their due dilligence. Personally, I think Goff has Matt Ryan upside, but I'd much rather draft a defensive player who will provide an impact from the start.
