Wasn't he kicked out of the combine as well? Red flags emerging. Randy Gregory ?

Oh yeah, that was him? Forgot about that. I gotta say, if he is the next Ray Lewis, hard to pass on him in the second round despite red flags. The sample was a diluted sample, so maybe it was just trying to hide weed. Not a deal breaker for me if so. Hard to make this call as a fan without the detailed background research on him and the sample.

I'm not against smoking weed, I actually think players should be allowed to use it for pain med, ect, however rules are rules, and right now your best ability is your availability. The fact he KNEW the combine was approaching and COULDN't keep himself clean says he has an issue (with something). Randy Gregory.

He said the it was because he was sick and was drinking too much water. I don't think he's the next randy gregory but I do think he drops a little, probably still a first rounder. If he's there for a team like the Raiders I think he gets picked.

PEppers also failed for the same reason.

The diluted sample excuse is always the same.... sick, had to hydrate.

Holy crap, I just saw this moron on one of the ESPN morning shows. What a freaking idiot this guy is. Dumb as a rock. They interviewed him for like 10 minutes and he is not mentally stable. He got into a fight with a hospital worker at the combine and had no explanation for it. They asked him and he just said "It was crazy, man"... he laughed a weird laugh and then said "I apologized... no, really, I apologized to the head doctor". He said he was upset because he had to wait in line for hours. Then he said "But, I'm not a prima donna or anything. Nobody likes to wait in line". The anchors of the show looked aghast at him.

I would not go near that guy.

They also showed how he committed to Auburn by dressing his little girl up in an Auburn cheerleader outfit and showing off his new Auburn tattoo (which he still has)..... then he de-committed to Auburn and committed to Alabama by wearing a Nick Saban costume. This guy is whack and a trainwreck waiting to happen. STAY FAR AWAY. He's mental. He might even have a few great years, but he is gonna snap someday. Maybe even kill somebody.

He tried to explain away his positive test for diluted sample by saying he was just drinking a lot of water to get his weight up to 230. That is another red flag. He would have had to either taken a masking agent, or drank nearly enough water to kill a horse for that to happen.

All I know is in 5 minutes of listening to that guy, I would not go near him. He scared me. He is just so weird and unstable. He would get uncomfortable on the set of SC and he would just start laughing and he never stopped smiling. You could tell he was coached by his agent to say certain things.

When they asked him about his Auburn tattoo, he looked into the camera and pointed and said "that tattoo ain't goin nowhere y'all. Know that!". Dude is just really stupid and not mentally stable, that is all I know.

You're way off here.

He didn't get into a fight with someone, he yelled at someone. Completely different. Still stupid but different.

He committed to Auburn and got the tattoo because he and his cousin wanted to play together with the ultimate goal of playing in the NFL together. His cousin was later shot to death and he changed his Auburn tattoo into a design that honors his cousin.

The diluted sample isn't a huge red flag because it's pretty common according to guys like Bill Polian (who also said teams knew way before we did). And it might be true because he was in the hospital why he was going through the process. Unlikely that its true but he has a pretty good alibi.

He might not be the smartest person in the world but most NFL players aren't. To call him "weird and unstable" is pretty dumb

Just saying I would be surprised if his IQ is over 80. He's not Mike Singletary let's just put it that way. He might be Lawrence Taylor or Ray Lewis, though, so maybe I'm way off base saying stay away from him. In fact, you're right come to think of it. He has the perfect mentality for an NFL linebacker.

Doesn't change my mind that he's mentally unstable. I know that when I see it. He scares the hell out of me. You don't just get thrown out of the combine for yelling at somebody. He must have said something pretty bad or was threatening.

He doesn't seem to want to take responsibility for anything though. He didn't say "I was wrong and immature and acting like an idiot"... he said "It was crazy, man"... "I apologized to the head doctor.. to all the doctors" blah, blah.

The red flag I was talking about is that he was drinking water to put on weight to get to 230. He said he wanted to weigh what the coaches told him he should weigh.

You are 100% correct. I should not judge him. I just didn't like the kid at all from his interview.
But, he probably will make one hell of a linebacker, regardless. So, I retract my statement of staying away from him in the draft. If he's there in the 2nd round, or even late 1st, you take him.

He committed to Auburn and got the tattoo because he and his cousin wanted to play together with the ultimate goal of playing in the NFL together. His cousin was later shot to death and he changed his Auburn tattoo into a design that honors his cousin.

and... this I did not know. Changes things a little regarding that. I thought he just has an Auburn tattoo- that was what they showed. I didn't know about his cousin and getting shot to death and all that.

We can rule out Mitchell. He confirmed that the bears didn't bring him in for a workout. via cbssports.

Why not a CB or S in RD2? If pass on Adams or Lattimore in RD1 for a passer rusher (which is understandable) can still get a quailty DB in RD2.

I believe tackle is a bigger need right now and there will still be quality CB/S in the following rounds.

I read his back story. Sounds like a find. Also read Seahawks both need an OT and really like Bolles from their position in RD1. Whats the 2nd choice if he is not available in RD2?

Because Bolles has massive potential and will be playing one of the three most important positions in football. Plus LT is a bigger need than Safety. Leno and Massie is a much worse combo than Demos and Amos. Plus if Bolles is there in the second round them it's highly unlikely that someone with a higher grade will be there because there tons of buzz he will go in the 20s

Also there are only like three or four tackles who are projected to contribute this year. There are like 30 DBs projected to contribute this year

Adams at #3

If Foster or Watson is there are still there at 36 you take them if they are gone and Peppers is still there you take him

3rd round Butt

4th rd Pederson if no Watson and Smoot

I think Evan engrams would be a great pick up (if he's there). If not probably CB.

CB out of Ohio state? Before the rape allegations I thought he'd be available in the second round and that'd be a great spot to pick him up. Idk what to make out of the allegations though. If there's any legitimacy to them then we stay far away but this could be very similar to the Lael Collins situation. We would have to gain a lot more info on his situation before drafting because no one wants to draft a rapist. This might result in him going undrafted
