In this talent rich draft that who they take? 2-14 season, I'm not seeing them taking advantage of their position in this draft.

Shaheen!!! I was mocking him to the Bears all off season. Thought cause he was DII he'd fall late 3rd-early 4th. I like this pick.

Also says Pace is comfortable with Prince/Cooper at DB

Philly drafted wentz with the expectation of him being on the bench. They were forced to start him once Bradford demanded a trade.

We don't know what Trubisky will translate into because he's been a bear for two hours.

If he turns out to be better than Carson then he'll probably be considered better then Glennon. If that's the case he'll start. If the team feels like he needs time to learn that he'll be the back up.

No one in the FO or the coaching staff is going to refuse to start Trubisky if they view him as the better QB. The expectation might be that he'll need time to develop but if Trubisky surpasses those expectations he'll be the starter

It doesnt matter it was never my comparison I was responding to his comparison of Trubinsky with Wentz . I was point out several times I might add that he should be starting or be allowed to show that he cant in training camp regardless of the monies paid Glennon or how much they think he doesn't know right now . Once you trade those picks for him the situation changes and should be re-evaluated

I'm having a hard time understanding what you're saying but I think you're saying that the bears aren't going to give Trubisky a shot to win the starting job. If that's true I don't why you would think that

Pace said Mitchell is only for developing this season. Glennon is to start for the Bears.

Can't believe how athletic Shaheen looks. So fluid. Analysts saying he is probably the third best TE in the draft.

I was hoping we'd get a big body 3rd down and red zone option type of TE in the draft. Looks like Shaheen fits the bill. I was hoping for Chris Godwin or somebody, but analysts apparently have Shaheen rated as a better prospect. Good pick. I think it fills a HUGE need since he we have is speed receivers and Zach Miller, who is coming off a broken foot

With the 10th and 13th picks in this draft I think we're going

DL
Watkins, Clemson
Johnson, Iowa
Glasgow, Michigan

OT
Banner, USC
Eleuemunor, Texas A&M
Davenport, Bucknell

I think these are the next two biggest positions of need and these guys are all rated as some of the top available prospects.

That doesn't really mean anything. Teams say stuff like that all the time but there's always a competition. All that means is that as of right now Glennon is the starter. And although it's by far the most likely thing to happen he'll still have some sort of opportunity to play with the first team and if he impresses he'll get more and more of an opportunity until it turns into an opportunity. If he doesn't impress he'll be the back up.
