And will Jeff Smarjazja get picked?
(Whoever picks him gets his rights for 1 year, he is a pitcher on the Cubs, some say he may be a 7th rounder)

Look, last on list,
http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/rankings/wr.html
but he's ranked 4 stars.

Yeah if things don't work out for him in baseball he is not a bad pick since he is a good player. He could be a potential steal.

No DT help this year. Maybe we can see Double D's, Dusty Dvorakec.

Olsen will hopefully be an impact rookie on this team like Heath Miller. He was a great pick. I like the Wolfe pick because he is the only breakaway RB on our team who could be used also as an actual gimmick guy in our offense. I woudnt pout too much over quincy black because he might as well turn out to be leon joe. I wouldnt draft an OLB who shies from the run. Overall, good draft day, got some needs and some depth. Ive grown to trust lovie, angelo, and gabriel.

as i suspected. No qb drafted. Expected a gaurd and tackle at some point. Didn't think we'd take a DT, but wouldn't have surprised me. No WR really surprised me. 2 cb surprised me. De kind of surprised me. But te, rb, g, ot and s was right where I thought. Maybe with all the cb and s taken, hester is going to be our 5th wr?

I don't like Hester as a WR. I would much rather see him not getting hurt. :)

i'd much rather see him catching 5 yard slants for 75 yard touchdowns as well.

I think Hester is going to pretty much be a career special teamer... maybe a dime back or emergency defensive player. Would hope he starts seeing ~5 offensive snaps a game...as a decoy, reverses, some pass catching.

ESPN was pissing me off during the draft coverage when talking about Wolfe and a couple of the DBs we drafted saying they would help in the return game or would have to get better in the return game. Duh we got the best kickoff/punt returned in the game...I doubt anyone will be taking his job any time soon.

espn is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Wolfe would help out as the second returner to hester on kickoffs though. Wolfe is actually going to be what we wanted Hester to be on our offense. He'll catch the screens and be the only other breakaway player next to berrian on our offense.

I am scared about this:
Calvin Johnson went to Detroit and Adrian Peterson went to Minnesota. Two teams in the NFC North made huge upgrades.

I wouldn't say huge yet. Rookies can be boom or bust.

I'm more worried about Johnson than Peterson. Johnson could be one of the best WR ever. Also we aren't very good against the pass and Johnson is going to be a big threat against us. Peterson is either going to be a pro bowler or a complete bust.

I like the depth we now have at DB, especially Payne and AA (+ his girlfriend)

Maybe that's why AA has good hands. :eyebrows:
