Brutal, semi-legal hit rattled his jaw loose. He'll miss the rest of the year. The one upside (if such a thing exists) from that is the fact that neither his arms nor his legs were seriously hurt and Marvin can see if his depth pieces are worth a damn.

Oh, and the Bengals are 0-7 and probably the worst team in the NFL not located in Detroit. Who wants a top-5 pick??

top-5? hell naw. bengals better get top-2 or 3 at worst at this point.

also, i am down with making a mockery out of fitzy rest of the season if it prevents palmer from blowing a knee.

What do you all think of Fitzpatrick at this point? He's probably best suited to be a team's third-string QB, but given the overall ineptitude on offense I do hope he sticks around a little while.

The last thing I want to see is Palmer behind center if the line can't protect him. 0-16 is fine with me as long as it leads to enough picks that we can add talent, which we need at almost every position.
