Got a good deal for him for the slot. I wonder how much this stunts his growth now. Any hopes of him being a solid contributor this year is gone IMO.

Smith has already broken his foot as well, which means that his first NFL season will likely come without in-game action.

I'm absolutely in favor of giving him the Carson Palmer treatment, even if it means slogging our way to a 4-12 season. This team needs more talent still.
