Had to post my witnessing a mid-air murder by T. Jones.
Is ranking individual players strictly on team based performance (championships, win-shares) and offense (PER) lazy analysis?

Playoffs career stats > Regular Season career stats

If defense is 50% of the game, what's the GOAT top 10?

Terrence Jones 1 steal, 1 block, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 8 pts on 4-5 shooting in 6min 40 sec.

LOL man it's kind of crazy it's like we have to double so much vs LA cuz they are a threat everywhere that's kind of depressing... their defense is terrible though

Great game so far.

Only negatives thus far, we've made a few more dumb mistakes, handful.

Cole Aldridge poor pass to Harden.

A few times our ball movement stagnated.

The Lakers are shooting 68% and the D'antoni method and flow of the ball is chugging along.

Id give the Lakers an A+ - Kobe dishing and passing left and right to his teammates.

The only difference really was when Harden spent 3-4 shots chucking the ball up.

And just the fact we aren't shooting 68% lol.

Harden.lin.patterson.morris hit a few more shots and its a 70-70 halftime.

The D'antoni style and the way Lakers are scoring on O, is the future of that program.

Now its really about whether our young up-tempo offense can, speed it up.

We have to outscore the Lakers and work harder on defense and take better shots while speeding it up.

Rockets need to use its youth - to push it harder and faster.

Lin takes the cake. I have been a diehard Knicks fan since 1992 and casual since the late 1980's. I have never seen a player that awful. He wouldn't be a 12th man on the 2006 Knicks.

Think about it for a minute though. They essentially scored 5 free points at the end of the first half. Take that away and they lead by 3, with a team that has KOBE, D12, and GASOL. They SHOULD be a good offensive team. We, however, the youngest team in the NBA, are not supposed to be scoring 60 points on them in a half.

at least when we're down, we have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Teams that are up can become overconfident and/or lazy.
