Less than a week away.

I'm interested to see how the new pieces fit together.

I wish the NFL would do a realignment:

Move Dallas to the NFC South
Carolina to the NFC East

Move Miami to AFC South
Indianapolis to AFC North
Baltimore to the AFC East

It's annoying seeing the current arrangment

Harden's new skullcandy commercial is so awesome I almost want to buy a pair. Easily among the best rockets ads of all time, which is great cause they replay the turds out of these puppies.

Marvel Studios will continue to take my money for the next several years with all of the new films they announced. Really looking forward to the Guardians sequel and that Avengers two-parter. Good casting for the Black Panther, too.

Texans switch to Mallett

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11826 ... uarterback

HOUSTON -- Ryan Mallett will replace Ryan Fitzpatrick as the new starting quarterback of the Texans, coach Bill O'Brien announced Wednesday.

"Watching Ryan [Mallett] in practice every day, I believe it's gotten better and better," said O'Brien, who told both quarterbacks of the news early Wednesday morning. "His huddle command, his knowledge of the offense, he's been in this system for four years. ... I think he's made a lot of progress whereas he's never played in a game or hasn't had many reps in a game. We're going to give him his shot to play."

The Texans traded for Mallett in September, sending a draft pick to the New England Patriots. That pick is a conditional sixth-round pick on the condition that Mallett plays in 40 percent of the Texans' snaps this season.

Mallett, a third-round draft pick in 2011, spent the first three seasons of his career as a backup to Tom Brady with the Patriots. O'Brien was the Patriots' offensive coordinator that season before he left New England to be Penn State's head coach in 2012.

O'Brien said that upon his arrival in Houston this year, he saw a player who had "grown up" since he last saw him and that it was apparent that he had learned a lot from Brady.

"He has a much better knowledge of football and what it takes to be prepared," O'Brien said of Mallett. "Now it's time to put him out there and see what he can do."

Mallett's first start will come in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns, who are led by quarterback Brian Hoyer -- another former Brady backup.

My ideal division for the Texans would include Dallas, Tennessee & New Orleans.

The three teams I hate the most!

Salt Lake City is really small. Pretty mountains, tho.

Don't like being surrounded by this many Jazz fans...

Hang in there Butters, you'll make it out alive! If you get into a jam just go Professor Chaos on them and remind them that Clutch City = 2, Utah = 0.

Oh, and if you see Karl or John, tell them they can lick all of our taints.

I was talking a little smack with a Jazz fan at a bar here in Wyoming. He made a comment about the Jazz owning us in the 90s. I remind him of the two rings. He gets quiet, then raises his glass and says "@#$% the Lakers."

For the record: Ice belongs in Tea or Margaritas, and not on roads.

This is what I get for doing business with Wildlings in their lands.

Stuck in SLC airport waiting on my next flight.

Just want to say: if you are into hot, outdoorsy white girls then SLC has it going on! You have to get past the fact that they are likely Jazz fans, tho.

I, personally, can't get past that.

I damn near died in that city.

Don't try to learn to ski on blue slopes with May-level ice.

Also falling off a mountain pretty much sucks.
