I do agree that even though the playoff showing wasn't Pau's fault, that it probably did hurt his trade value.

Also he's 32 next season.

32 is fine just don't play him full time at center
his injured history is good
and then i check his contract
omg it's almost 19 mil per
forget it

If we step back for a minute: This year he would have made us a near-contender in conjunction with Chuck Hayes and Dalembert - 56-62 wins over 82 games (can't remember what I calculated...)
He's still an upgrade over Scola, and we have to do our REAL improvement via rookie contracts and acquisitions, so yeah, dunno how it would work anymore.

he's definintely an improvement over scola, but is he worth it? i dont think he'll be at the level we need him at. too many risks imo for too much money. he needs to be a 20/10 player for us

My thoughts on the playoffs so far:

1) Happy the Thunder are doing well.

2) Looks like resting their stars was a good move by the Spurs!

3) Chicago may have overtaken Portland in the "Bad Luck Injury" department for the next couple years. That injury to Rose...damn...

4) Very happy that Flop City is out.

5) I like the team that the Pacers have built.

6) Since the Rockets aren't in it (again) I'm trying really, really hard to care...but beyond what I just typed I really don't.

Gasol not playing the triangle or the princeton is unfortunate. The sad thing is that the one and only place where he would benefit is Minny, and Love and Pekovic are pretty much untouchable.

I like the Thunder but I have a funny feeling Perkins and Ibaka will have their hands full with a rested Duncan. This team matches up evenly with the Spurs personnel wise, should be a good 7 games.

I'm glad Miami got taken to at least 6 games by Indiana. They look vulnerable. The Celtics and the Heat going at it, and Miami losing that series would be very satisfying to me.

You're right. I blame myself for the derailing. But mostly, I blame Max.

He must be a Laker spy!

Hate the Spurs.
Duncan ties Dream's playoff blocks total.
they may eclispe our 22 game winning streak.
Kawhi Leonard should have been a Rocket.
Boris Diaw goes from worst team to best.

Dallas winning it all last year was bad enough
having both instate rivals win in consecutive years would really hurt.
C'mon Thunder!!!

yeah i want the spurs to win it all. surprising team, killer winning streak. they lost like 5 or 6 games since february. ****. get tim duncan his 5th ring. 20 years from now pple are gonna think kobe was a great defender late in his career, they better think duncan was always on kobe's level too with that 5th ring

20 years from now when i talk about lebron james, the kids will be like "who? huh? come again? pardon me? THE **** YOU TAWKIN BOUT N***A??? im finna bust a cap in yo ass if u dont start makin sense."

"Pple" are gonna say Duncan has 5 rings while Dream only had 2 (and Jordan wasn't there blah blah blah)

pple would still say dream has only 2 rings and duncan got 4. too late for that fantasy. the point of this is to devalue kobe's legacy. tim duncan is our last hope (in the generation of superstars i grew up watching)

I just don't see how a Houston fan/resident can root for the Spurs/Mavericks/Cowboys/Rangers.

rivalries in the nba isn't that big. when the celtics/lakers were in the finals, kobe didnt give one single **** about the magic/bird rivarly. as rockets fan its ok to hate on the mavs or jazz, but the spurs havent done anything to us (other than ginobli putting a screeching halt on aaron brook's nba career  , OVER A GOD DAAM FLOP AT THE END OF THE 1ST HALF, what a bitch )
