McHale needs to start the best 5: D12, Asik, Parson, Harden and Lin.

Have either D12 or Asik on LMA and Keep Lillard honest on D.

Yahoo Sources: Patrick Beverley cleared to play Game 2 for the Rockets.

Wolverine!

Chandler Parsons said the Rockets "watched everything we did wrong. We watched a lot of film.” Guess it was that sort of night and next day.

That sort of night? Well, he played great in the first half and wasn't so good the second.

LaMarcus Aldridge expects to see Dwight Howard guarding him more

That's a good idea, TT plus Lin, with Dwight guarding LMA; or take turns cuz Dwight can help better.

RT @JasonCFriedman: Rockets practice just wrapped. Jeremy Lin (flu-like symptoms) did not participate.

Oh no......plz not be serious......

I think a big mistake was made by McHale when he started reacting to the Blazers lineup rather than dictating the action. I'm a big believer in acting rather than reacting. If the Rockets come out starting Asik then the Blazers have already won.

Truly, he should have gone to that lineup in the beginning of the season rather than now, that would be acting and having a good playoff lineup. What a big mistake, it's a little late. But TJ really isn't cutting it.

What's done is done. We lost game 1, we don't let that happen in game two. TJ will have his hands full, I actually think DMo should get some burn.

They did.. They were running fat people sex for awhile and it didn't work. I'm sticking with Jones and betting LMA doesn't go for 46 again.

Agreed, dmo is more disciplined on D and boxes out, something few others on this team do.
Go to Dwight earlier and often for the rest of this series, they cant stop him.

Blowout tonight

Seems like first game the Rockets thought they can beat the Blazers in straight up bball, no tactics, ISO one on one, no gameplan, n they almost succeeded. Tonight is a different ball game.

It's not like I was impressed with Jones' defensive performance either, but he DID have 2 steals, a block, no turnovers, 13 rebounds, and 12 points on 6-10 shooting.

We put DMo in and we lose that.
I don't know who thinks he's any good on defense, either. I haven't seen it.
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I am at work today, and won't be watching the game, but you can bet I'll be here in spirit, and that I'll be all over the boxscore. Lets do this!!!

~lol~ Wut? Well, we'll see what happens in game 2, at least we will get some make up calls. Winning it would mend a lot of things but we'll have to win one in Portland.

DMo isn't great on D but he is longer than TJ and plays tougher. TJ is the better shot blocker but his post D......

How about a Clippers-style rebound tonight? 40 pt beatdown!

Want to know the inside scoop on what McHale has up his sleeve tonight? He told me he's going to suit up and defend LMA himself... old school, if you know what I mean. "I may have bad knees, but my elbows are just fine. After I'm done with him tonight, his nickname will be LMAO"

Lin will have a "flu game" that will rival Jordan's in history!

Forget Beverley, Harden will guard Lillard himself and shut him down.

Ok, maybe not, but let's go Rockets!

It's not so much the length but really LMA just outmuscled him. He just backed him down to wherever he wanted. Not sure if D-Mo is strong enough to stop that either. I think we're going to see a steady diet of Asik on LMA tonight.

I also think Harden is going to stay on Matthews. I just don't see how you can't take the abuse he took in game 1 personally. I think Harden will be fired up.

Return to Houston Rockets
