Trevor Ariza? Clint Capela? Joey Dorsey?

Rockets agreed to partially guaranteed deal with Christian Wood
you guessed right
another PF
except this time ... he's not undersized

6'9.25" w/o shoes, 6'10.5" w/ shoes, 7'3.25" wingspan, 9'3.5" standing reach

but only weight 216 lbs

not undersized but under-weighted

Wood looks Manute Bol skinny in the clips I watched, but he is under 20 if I'm not mistaken. He can bulk up.

I know that we all know this as long-time Rockets fans, but it has to be said again: we cannot get too attached to anyone on this roster. This time last season we thought it was an absolute given that Parsons would be back no matter what. That didn't happen, Miami inexplicably paid Bosh the big bucks and all around RealGM the death of the Rockets was celebrated...but they ended up doing alright in the end.

I personally do not want to see Ariza moved. I like what he does for this team so much. That said, I realize that his name is not James Harden or Dwight Howard, so I know that it could happen. If it does there is a short list of guys I'd be cool with the move happening.

The big question for me this summer is Sergio Llull. Is this the year he comes over? Can he be as good as many of us hope?

I hope that one is settled sooner rather than later.

supposedly the only thing holding christian's wood back, other than his religion, is his work ethic. after going undrafted and picked up by a contender, his confidence has to be high. will he be a lazy sumbitch? not if he knows whats good for him. take out his aggression in the summer league, and maybe xvideos or pornhub.

Musical Chairs Summer 2015

Post#10 » by zapatasblood » Sun Jun 28, 2015 3:57 pm

They are unrestricted free agents and can get more money from other teams. I really would not care about losing Smith and if by some chance we get one of the better pf on the market and can only bring back brewer or smith well bye smith.

I want brewer back he bought something different off the bench and I'd also want Terry back on the cheapest possible contract.

If we bring Lull, get a Milsap and keep Brewer I'd call it a highly successful offseason

K. Pap option was only picked up for salary filling reason so it's a good move. Best way to get one of those two big names is by s&t as I understand

I think that the prevailing opinion is that Jones will be traded. Right now he and Motiejunas are pretty much in the same boat, but I'd argue that Jones has more value (due to Motie's back surgery).

The question is if they are going to try to clear cap space or look for a sign & trade. I could see your idea having some merit if the Rockets have enough to pull off a sign & trade next (Aldridge, etc.). Having an extra first round pick could be good for future trades.

So my dream roster is:

Bev/Llull/Terry
Harden/Brewer/McDaniels
Ariza/Dekker
Aldridge/Smith/Harrell
Howard/Capela

I think that team could win the title, but it would be a masterpiece to assemble.

Nebula1 - in that roster scenario I'm thinking that Llull would emerge as the starter.

lowry for kostas, jones, s&t bev and/or brewer, next year's first and filler. leaves the backup guards thin but thats a price to pay. terry will be a solid backup, that leaves nick and kj to fight for minutes. with lowry and harden the backups wont be seeing more than 15mpg.

lowry/terry/nick
harden/terry/kj
ariza/dekker/kj
dmo/smith/harrell
dwight/capella

At this point I'm not too concerned about Terry with the minutes he may get. I just like the idea of him being on the team with his attitude and experience.

Plus, knowing that Terry is a Rocket really punches some Mavs fans I know directly in their souls. That alone is worth it!
