I've been thinking that this offseason on the forum could be a bit different. Since we are pretty low-volume now in terms of traffic I'm thinking that we should forgo the catch-all threads for trades or off-topic discussion. I'm thinking that we could bring those back if traffic on the forum picks up and threads start getting lost quickly from the front page, but until then I would be cool with a free-for-all attitude.

Thoughts?

I figured that the first quarter of Game Five (an elimination game) would be the ideal time to discuss this.

Is some idiot still going to try to tell me Harden is the problem and the Rockets should trade him?

We will hear a lot of that. I don't mind people floating the idea out there. I can see some reasoning behind it; but I can't say that I would agree with it. Trading a 26 year old of his ability while he's on a bargain deal would not be a good move, in my opinion. At least let's see what JVG (allegedly) can do with him.

I like your idea Mr. E. transitioning to a 'free for all" forum would be much like the 2015-2016 Houston Rockets free for all offense.

this is embarrassing
facing elimination game this team still play like preseason game
i can't believe some actually want like 1-3 against Curry-less Warriors team over lottery pick

I wanted playoffs because I didn't think they would still play like a preseason team. Actually I did know, lottery pick won't do much for this team anyway. Trade some one for it.

I'm hoping it will be more like the 2014-2015 Rockets. You know, the ones who were fun to watch and found ways to win.

Rockets are garbage. To get this embarrassed by a curry less team is pitiful. As I understand he has only played 2 qtrs and yet the Rockets look like ****.

Curry basically only play one half in game 1 and another half in game 4.

I started binge-watching the show "The Wire" a few weeks ago.

That series is pretty rough!

I'm worried that if I start a new episode during halftime I won't feel like coming back to this game.

I mean really? That's your reasoning? Because you thought making the playoffs would make them a better team magically? They had all season to not be a garbage team but failed at it. Time and time again losing pivotal games and losing to what should be lesser teams. I can understand wanting to make the playoffs because well it's the playoffs but to really think they'd become a actually good team is laughable.

Maybe you shouldn't because the team clearly folded. Anyways love the wire! Such a great series
