The other big canidate for the USC job is the Oregon State head coach - sorry, can't remember his name.

I doubt that the guy that constantly upsets USC would leave his team to coach USC and have to face Oregon State every year.

Ehh, Carroll is a good college coach.... not impressed with the Seahawks signing him.

Has anyone else heard that Mike Martz wants to be reunited with Rod Marinelli in Chicago? LMAO

If Martz can turn Kitna into a back-to-back 4,000 yard passer, he could really take Cutler to the next level. I really really believe that. Martz had it right, it's just that the offense wasn't built the way he wanted it to be. He wanted to draft Cutler over Sims. He wanted to draft Jamaal Brown (OT) over Mike Williams. Both the players he wanted, our idiot GM skipped on. Both the players Martz wanted ended up becoming pro bowlers.

The problem was never with Mike. When he was hired, he got promised the all rights to the offense and that includes draft rights and free agency signings. He was lied too so gave up. Watch out for Chicago Bear's offense the next two seasons.

I was shocked, but it sorta makes sense. He was a Peter Carroll guy. Oh well, maybe the news will shut up about it now.

I like Lane Kiffin, and I'll bet the kids he tries to recruit will like him even more. He gets a bad rep that he doesn't fully deserve. The hire seems like a no-brainer for both sides, perfect fit.

I swear Mark Sanchez is the luckiest guy in the world. If you watch him play, he's not even good. He miscues so many passes. Very inaccurate. What a gift it was to him that he got drafted by the Jets.

Another great game by Sanchez with a couple of epic plays.
