Poll: James Jones or Jordy Nelson or Neither

These guys are so close to me that I'll take whichever is younger and more durable. I think that's Jordy, but I could be misremembering.

I'd take Nelson, but not by much. Jones is a talented receiver but he's most likely going to get a huge pay day and that doesn't sit well with me. I think eventually Nelson has the tools to surpass Jones talent wise and be an overall better wide out than Jones. He has nice intangibles and good size and speed for the position and if he can continue to work off his performance last season and in the Super Bowl, Nelson could have a very promising career as our number two receiver behind Jennings. Oh yea, he also has the Super Bowl MVP, AARON FREAKING RODGERS throwing him the ball. That in it self will help you put up better overall stats and be a more productive receiver. Rodgers/Packers > McNabb/Vikings. (Assuming that's where Jones ends up.)

I want both now that the Eagles have Aso. If I had to pick one I'd pick Jordy simply because his drops don't come at the most inopportune moments possible. Jones saves his for the Super Bowl and what not.

EDIT*- Jordy dropped one in the SB too..... get rid of both of them.

Looks like I just tied it up at 14!!! Voted to keep Jones over Jordy but its an insanely close call.

Honestly, I thnk JJ and Jordy are dang near the same players. JJ gets a bad rap because of the timing of his drops / the Bears fumble.

Assuming we lose JJ, I think it's just a matter of timing. With the Pack against the cap, Jordy signed on the cheap, and an exciting RC knocking on the door in Cobb, we just don't have a lot of room for JJ.
