I'm happy because drafting WRs high plays to Ted's most established strength. I wonder if he'd have taken Niklas. Cards pick was a kick in the dick.

As an added bonus he might be able to help the Bucks a little as well...

His college film actually reminds me a lot of Jennings. He has the same outside cut fake that Jennings made a living on. Does a good job using his body to create catches. Love the pick.

Re: #53 - Adams
I'd be fine with James Jones 2.0. I'm sad to see Jones go. I didn't get why some fans weren't so fond of him. Residual feelings from him being wildly unreliable during the Super Bowl year? I thought he was remarkably reliable outside of that. You could count on him to shield the DB to avoid int's, create just enough space that way for himself, and catch the ball nonchalantly usually if he reasonably could. He didn't blow you away with physical ability, but he was an instinctual, productive for his role, receiver. Between the tape and numbers, it looks like that's what Adams is too. So I get the pre-draft comparison, and why we not so coincidentally wound up with him. Keep the machine going on the offensive side of the ball. Seldom was that why we lost games, when we did.

His pro day and combine numbers are eerily similar to Nelson's.

Either TT is amazingly consistent about the type of wide receiver he likes, or many if not all of us are having tunnel vision with our comparisons. Because so far he's been compared to every productive wideout drafted by TT outside of Cobb.

Same here and reading up on him, he was projected to go around second round, yet i had no clue who he was.
Watching the highlights, for whatever reason, he didn't look as big as he really is. Now that the initial "who the hell is that" shock is over once the pick was announced and i read up on Adams, i'm liking it more and more.

Re: #53 - Adams
Adams interviews well from the few videos I've seen. Seems like a smart and mature presence. And James Jones 2.0 is a pretty good get. Jones was a very good player. Adams seems like he could slot right into his role without much drop-off. Love that we have so much diversity in our WR's skill sets. You've got guys that can stretch the field, a slot guy and now another strong possession type. This offense is going to be fun to watch with Lacy rolling.

He looks much more athletic in how he moves than Jones ever did. Jones was always pretty stiff. I'm not a fan of that comp.

I think that TT definitely has some sort of equation that is bringing him consistent WR talent in the 2nd round. I am incredibly comfortable with any WR pick that TT makes at this point. We have some needs, but I think that ILB talent is the same in the 3rd round as it was in the 2nd.

Yea, i thought his body movements looked kinda like Jennings, except being a longer strider. Then again, all i saw was about 20 seconds of highlights.

40" vertical. Big catch radius. Looks like he'll be a nice red-zone target.

I was actually looking at Adams earlier today and one of the things that jumped out was that he is a very natural hands catcher. That has been a huge thing with the WRs we target.

IMO profiles more like Jordy than JJ. Either way he's going to be a mismatch.

Always nice to have a jump-ball guy in the redzone.

I know it's BR but there is some good analysis in this video.

Honesty he reminds me of Jor-dall-eg Jenn-ones-son. Very similar hands, feet, legs and arms. I'm guessing he will catch passes.
