This defense should be ranked #15-20 if healthy. With injury's and Mathews out its one of the worst.

TT has failed so hard with this defense. Our offense has been so loaded that TT just had to focus his drafts and off season on the defense the last 3 years.

Offense is more balanced because Lacy can be the best RB in the NFL. Our Passing game is allot worse. Might be the worst passing game we have had since Rodgers has been starting at QB. Lacy makes up for it on offense though.

Give the Packers a average defense and we are a super bowl team. TT has had like 5 years to make this defense average.

The question going into week one shouldn't be can we get a win. It's how many players will we lose on IR after.

I like them both but I would go with the guy with good pass coverage skills. Banjo is decent and I would keep him if Bush wasn't on the team.

I was reading packernews prediction and they kept BOTH rolle and Banjo. To make up for that they cut Flynn and Bradford (LB'S: Clay, Peppers, Neal, Perry, Elliot, Mulamba, Hawk, Jones, Lattimore, Barrington). They stashed Thorton on IR.

Also they went 5 WR's. So both Dorsey and Miles White got cut.


I think they are going to weight Special Teams needs and young potential vs Flynn security blanket. It's going to be an interesting 48 hours.

I think they both make it. Banjo is a special teams guy and Rolls has been very solid.

I think Flynn is cut, knowing that if they ever need another QB he'll be out there on the street and available.

That makes sense, but I'm not so sure he wouldn't be picked up by another team. Maybe not next week, but teams could call him if QBs start getting injured. If some starting QBs get hurt, wouldn't be surprised if Flynn ends up being picked up either to fill in or to become a backup to the backup. Eg, if Russell Wilson gets hurt, does Seattle roll with Tarvaris Jackson and Terrell Pryor? Wouldn't they at least think really hard about Flynn?

if not, then 1 of Elliott, Mulumba get in
