Training Camp Thread
So Training Camp started today. Mike Neal and Nick Perry failed their physicals and will be on the PUP list for now. Shocker.

Wow. This wasn't expected, right?

Neal has a core injury. Perry is a foot. Guion is a hamstring, Janis is illness and Worthy is lower back. Neal and Perry are close to being back. Worthy is further away. Janis is probably back today.

Lang has a shoulder injury that they are being careful with and not giving him a full practice.

Re: Training Camp Thread
Perry was back today. Good to hear.
Abbrederis had a big day as well as Micah Hyde, who ran with the 1's at FS. Daniels continues to beast and looks to be a vocal leader on the D.

I'm very interested to see how quickly Abby can acclimate to the pro game.

Re: Training Camp Thread
Careful. People will call you a homer if you praise Abbrederis at all.
I like him a lot. He jumped off the screen since he was a walk on. It's funny the labels that people place on him because of his skin color and where he played college. To me, the only concern with me is the concussions. If he can stay healthy I think he has huge upside.
Working with mostly crap at QB, and for the most part being the only real deep threat at UW, he was ALWAYS open and always made the huge plays, despite opposing teams being able to key on him. He has a nose for the ball and that's something you just can't teach.
Though I'll never forgive him for mistiming his bat down attempt versus Mich. st.

Yeah I'm a homer but I think Abbrederis is going to be very good.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think that if he ends up being very good, it might be elsewhere. I don't know how he even sees the field this year.

Punt returner. Cobb, Tramon, and Hyde are too valuable and Abby has a solid resume as a returner.

Re: Training Camp Thread
They already have him running 3rd string behind 2 of those people at returner. I don't think they view Hyde as too valuable to return with.

Re: Training Camp Thread
I fully expect Abbredaris to get a shot at punt and/or kick off return this season. If not to start the season it will happen some time shortly thereafter. He will get his chance to make plays.
