ATL: Week 3

Post#1 » by GB_Packers » Fri Sep 19, 2014 2:02 am

Bucs getting **** destroyed and it's just now approaching halftime. Shocking to see a Lovie Smith coached team get throttled this badly. Not sure I've seen a team quit on their coach in week three either.

Why is eds still in the game? 2 unsportsmanlike penalties and a bad snap.

Also a 2nd bad snap by EDS that was pathetic assuming the QB was under center. Wondering if he is concussed or high.

That team (TB) must still be recovering from the damage Schiano did. Either that or all those high draft picks and FA signings just aren't very good....

Well, the biggest FA signing was Revis, and they decided he was too good for them. They're just a mess. And yeah, I think it's safe to say that the Mark Dominik era was an unqualified failure.

Also learned last night that Tedford is their OC now. I had no idea.

Interesting to watch a set of coaches that all of the fans thought were way too conservative (Lovie, Frazier) go at this.

Tampa was lost regardless...but punting at the end of the half when already down 35 in Atlanta territory was such a Lovie move. He's not going to have the Chicago Curtain/Tampa 2 D of Urlacher and ridiculous Peanut Tillman turnovers to bail him out of games as long as he manages/keeps it close. They're going to have to get a little aggressive. Out of their norm.

The OTL report about how the Rice situation unfolded is just devastating to the Ravens and the NFL. Just crushes them.

Read it last night. I don't feel bad for Rice for what he did. But what the NFL and the ravens did to him was just as horrible. He told them the truth to what happened and once the public saw the footage and were outraged the Commish andravens said Rice lied to them. Heck for the owner of the ravens to send a text to him after they released him saying he has a job after his career if he stayed quiet was BS.

Honestly, Rice comes out looking the best in that story, which is saying something for an individual who brutally punched his wife.

ETA: I don't agree that what they did was "just as horrible." But I do believe that he was straightforward about what happened and the Ravens and NFL are trying to cover that up.

That Baltimore president and Ozzie Newsome are going to be fired before it's all over. And I think Goodell too. The public pressure will be too strong.

Seattle beating Denver now... Broncos can't run the football... too many outside runs. Seattle is vulnerable up the middle between the tackles.

I think the Bengals are legit Super Bowl contenders. Hopefully that ginger doesn't **** it up with stupid turnovers, I'd like to see them do well.
