D has totally fallen apart. Their O-line has been incredible in pass protection though.

They didn't have to work for it.

This is what scares me about this D. We've played so many games against garbage QB's that we haven't had to worry about getting thrown on. Early returns against a QB that isn't totally incompetent are not promising.

That's the most frustrating thing. Receivers are running wide open. Their QB is scrambling with no one near him for the first 10 yards. At least make them work for it.

Defense looks completely gassed. They need to just run the clock out or they're going to lose.

Even on the few plays where they do get some pressure it doesn't matter because Iowa's QB is finding someone open right away every time.

Yeah, that's why it reminds me of the LSU game. The defense just collapsed and gave up big gain after big gain.

Maybe we'll start teaching our DBs to look for the ball instead of sticking your arm up and hoping it hits your hand after this one.

Credit where it is due, though. This is one of the first times the Badgers have been forced out of their aggressive nature because whether aggressive or not, the Iowa line is pass-blocking the **** out of them.

Yeah, barring a big play from us, if they get the ball back again we're going to lose.

Offense needs to keep it the rest of the game because Iowa isn't going to need much time to score if they get it back.

So if Iowa wins this and wins next week while we beat Minnesota does Iowa win the West? Obviously if Iowa wins and Minnesota beats us next week then Minnesota wins.

I don't think so, because they lost to Minny.

Edit: Nvm, saw that you threw in us beating Minny.

Iowa needs to beat Nebraska, which is likely at home.

So if Iowa wins early, we can just lay down vs Minnesota to say f u to Iowa and their refs

If Badgers lose this and win next week, it's down to the Iowa game to decide the champ. Iowa wins being the only team with 2 losses if they beat Nebraska. Badgers win the conference I believe if Nebraska wins that game.
