From there you have to take a very hard look at the front 7 on D and ask if you're getting your money's worth with each player. This includes Clay and Peppers.

Slocum needs to go.

Agreed!

I understand everyone wants Cobb. I would like to keep him if he is willing to sign at a discount. However, we have to keep this line together. IF (and it is a huge if) Rodgers and the entire line can stay relatively healthy next year, I think we win it all. It seems like every year we lose 2-3 offensive lineman to injuries. This was the first year the line played together for the entire season and we need to keep that going.

We also need a ILB. So if losing Cobb assures us of keeping together this line and getting an above average ILB then so be it. This is coming from a HUGE fan of Cobb. We do a great job finding wide receivers in the draft.

I love the number of guys posting "You should be able to keep Cobb / Bulaga both" without posting any additional info.

Last I checked with the salary cap, you can't pay your QB 20 mil, and everyone else 8/10 / year on your offense.

Right now, you could make the case that every guy on our starting offense would be paid that if they were free agents (except our TE's or Kuhn).

It's just not possible

Only thing left is looking forward to 3 months of Mock Drafts & FA discussions.

You might want to take down the link. If I recall posting a competing message board's link is something you get banned on RealGM.

Not sure if that is the case or not. Maybe another user or a Mod can correct me.

What's the cap going to be at, close to $130 million? With restructured deals for Peppers and Tramon (I would be fine with letting him walk considering the depth that we have at CB), you can absolutely re-sign Cobb and Bulaga.

I squandered an asset? Then Hammond taught me well.

Definitely a must to bring Bulaga back. He is very important and a key to probably the best offensive line Rodgers has had in his career.

Isnt Tramon a FA too? Why would we have to restructure?

He has one year left, doesn't he? Two million guaranteed?

Or was that this year?

Pretty sure that Tramon is a free agent.

Yeah, I looked it up. That was this year that he only had $2 million guaranteed.

Just slipped my mind. For some reason I thought we had the 'option' to cut Tramon and sign House or just keep Tramon basically. Now it probably just comes down to which one of them we want to bring back.

That honestly doesn't look super tough to me. You knew the 6 division games, most of the tougher games are at home. Denver could be a mess next year, Oakland almost certainly will be, Arizona and Carolina could/should have good defenses but we should be better and San Francisco is a huge question mark.

15-1 or bust.

Looks like at least 11-5 to me based on this year. Probably as good as 13-3 or 14-2.

We were the 2 seed, so it should look tough at first glance. But the league is so random, it never is as it seems at this time.

Home game against Seattle will be great, barring injury I think we will dominate them.

6-0 in the division

7-1 at home (loss to either KC or San Diego depending on how good they are next year)
6-2 on the road (if Manning comes back we lose to Denver and AZ)

13-3
Top of the NFC
Dominate everyone in the postseason
Playing with a chip on their shoulder the Packers win Superbowl 50 by double digits, much like the 2013-2014 Spurs.

For the re-sign both Cobb / Bulaga guys - what do you do when you have to pay Lacy, Baktiarhi, Lang, and Sitton in the next 2 years?

Who walks?
