Who was the last top 50 out of state committ we got? It's probably been since Alvarez. Awesome news.

And now the younger Lyles (2017 4-star G). Killing it today.

Signing day is a long way away (particularly lyles) but this couldn't be better news.

With Lyles' brother almost in tow you have to feel pretty good. You're right - long ways away.

Yay for random family connections. Penniston, the Lyles bros, and Rand all have family in WI and somehow the staffs parlayed that into commits.

Great day. Kayden in particular is a big-name commit with an impressive offer list. It's all great though. Wonderful news.

Boom, I am the man. Lol. I had a good feeling with Kayden. Wasn't sure about Garrett. Kayden will be the first lineman WI has had since Aaron Gibson who can do the splits I believe. I have no idea how either Kayden or Rand can be high schoolers. They are huge. I feel so bad for normal size kids who have to play against them. They look like they are 22 and have been lifting weights for a decade, lol.

Saw him at the game on the sidelines last week. Kid is huge.

Pennamon (16 - CB recruit) was also with him and committed this week as well.

I went to high school with Nick Hayden (he was a year older) and walking past him in the hall occasionally was ridiculous.

Good job, Kurt. Can you be our regular recruiter down there? AFAIK you're not a booster. Plenty of potential with all the Wisconsin/Arizona ties. Chryst is still not some sort of salesman, and Brown unfortunately departed to hurt us further in that department, but our selling has been better than expected, and I think more than anything Chryst's sensible recruiting strategy vs. Gare's has helped us stay up there or even improve in the dept. Here, found recruits with Wisconsin ties to work on.

Tomorrow is the classic early Badger loss scenario. Hope I'm wrong. Glad we're at home at least.

I won't really be surprised if we lose. The offense just isn't very good this year without the usual caliber of RB and O-line to function as the backbone.

Sounds like Mr. Badger commit for 90% of the recruiting process Antonio Williams has been contacted by Urbs and things are up in the air...

Yeah, this would be terrible. Chryst needs to leave practice and fly down today. Kid could play a big role as early as next year. And we've kind of ignored the RB position this cycle because we locked him up so early. We need a difference maker there in the worst way.

Up to #20 nationally in the 247 rankings, but I have a feeling they'll be losing Williams. Still very impressed/reassured with the rankings of the recruiting under Chryst.

I'm not buying the AW to OSU rumors yet. Even if they lose their top RB commit they'll have two others in the top 15. Can't see that happening.

Yeah, never over until it's over. Williams is about 90 days from showing up as an early enrollee.

Basically, one of the OSU commits visited Michigan so Urbs called Williams. Suddenly Williams went silent on Twitter, took down some of the UW pics, and followed about 10 OSU guys a few days ago on Twitter. Of course, while following, I don't really care what the 17-year-old guy ends up doing, nor will I be mad at him or worry about the team's future...but that's the evidence.

Yea, OSU seems sure that the #1 RB in the country commit they have is going to leave. They still have #4 and #12 though...

Losing Williams would really suck.
